It would be the single most broken thing I probably would ever play unless they revamped basically every class in the game. The game is not designed to support PvP.

Something we can agree on.Cyonan wrote...
The reason we don't have a PvP mode is because the game is designed as a co-op thing. The balance would be absolutely laughable when it came to PvP.

But there's a catch. People don't want it DON'T HAVE TO PLAY IT.
(apologies for not sticking precisely to your original and innovative approach to grammar but there are limits, even in a parody)
Not everything has to be about competing. Not every online game has to allow "teabagging" just so you can feel superior to some 15 year old kid who you've never met. Not every DLC costs money ...

Anyway, I disagree. I was very sceptical when Bioware said they were adding a multi-player component to ME3 and I'm glad to be proved wrong, having a vs-AI only multi-player makes a lot more sense for a game like mass effect.
Your assertion that PvP was omitted due to "laziness" rings a little hollow.

Level 1 guns
No powers (Yeah, who would play that?)
No ammo powers
No stagger lock
No 1 shot kill guns like Javelins
No equipment (Rocket Launcher = instant win? Yeah sounds fun... not)
Shaping up to be a really entertaining mode no?...

I don't remember saying I disliked PvE. I think this game would of been better with a team pvp mode. Because each classes kind of counters each others.
Also - I'm so sorry you didn't even get it was already being competitive even vs A.I. So sad.

This game is not designed for pvp, it may sound good on paper to you, but the second you are stuck helplessly floating because of Pull or Singularity, you'd change your mind.

It's co-operative.
Competitive = PvP.
Co-operative = PvE.
It's been that way since the original Gauntlet or Gauntlet II or Arkham Horror or the original TMNT coin-op. They're considered co-operative games.

Infiltrator Cloak + Sniping = Winner.
Stasis = Winner.
Lift = Winner
Cryo Blast = Winner

No, no we don't. The community likely wouldn't be large enough to support two radically different modes and the game would be nearly impossible to balance.
Co-op is fine, we don't need ME to become "CoD ..in space."

Enjoy killing helpless A.I. over 1000 scripted encounters. I've seen the elitism coming from the multiplayer's forum and it left me a little speechless. I've never seen a community with so much ****gotry in it.

Competitive doesn't always equal PvP, nor does co-operative need to equal PvE.
Mass Effect 3 however, is not a competitive game.
