The last time her and I hung out was before ME3 came out. Knowing that I am (was? still kinda hopeful? not sure where extended cut is going? I don't even know.) an avid mass effect fan she asked me how I enjoyed the game. Well naturually this was my response:

She said that she had actually heard about the massive backlash and thought it was quite funny on know your meme, though she didn't know what it's all about. Which she said was sad, because she always had heard good things about the series and wouldn't have minded to try it out some time. So I asked her if it was cool if I filled her in, but spoilerized it all for her. She said sure. We got to my house, she made me a sandwhich (best part of the story.) So to fill her in, before even discussing the ending with her. I showed her some my favorite scenes through out the series and filled her in on some of the lore. I showed her amoung many other touching scenes: Liara having her mother die in her arms, Saren's suicide, The paragon ending to Project Overlord, Mordin and Thane's deaths, making peace with the Geth and Quarians. So at this point she was confused. She said this is all building up, right? Well I showed her all the vastly different endings and she was pissed. I mean she actually yelled at my computer monitor, though she had never played any of the games in her life before. In retrospect, I really should have thrown on my webcam and put up a live recording of her reaction, because it was golden. Still I just thought that might be great to know that even someone that's never played the games thinks this:

Ps: yes. I am a futurama fan. ftw.
PPS: If you're wondering why I mention myself as an avid Mass Effect fan, but I only have ME3 on my Bioware account.
This is the account that is linked to my PSN account. On my old account I had ME, ME 2, and DA:O for my PC, but that my pc crashed and I switched to PS3. I also haven't activated ME2 for my PS3, don't really see a point, because I'm probably not playing it again any time soon haha.
