Wow, would have been a great scene and there really are so many gaps in the dialogue with AShley in ME3, it would have been nice to have another more bonding scene between them (even without romancing her).
They did a great job with squad interaction in ME3, but it still should have been more, strangely enough I especially felt this with Ashley and Liara. Like whenever you make your round through the normandy everybody has to say something new, but those two are always repeating the same stuff.

Why not include a few mor escenes like this? Would have been good.

Sigh, before I would have just assumed it was something artistic or a time constraint. Now, I wonder if it will be part of some LI DLC....

It's still a great scene. Hopefully, it's a bug, and the dialogue will be included next time around.

Oh, wow. That actually answers something I had been wondering for a while. Except those few lines at the Cerberus' base, Shepard never mentions how she/he feels regarding the fact that, well, she/he did die.
Shame the scene didn't make it.

Seriously, that was the best written scene for Ash and it got cut. Hell, it was written in a way to be completely non-offensive to both those who believe in an afterlife and those who don't.

It would have been cool to have people ask about that, and more bonding moments with the crew are always nice.

I always thought it's weird renegade Shep makes fun of Garrus about his scars when Shepard's face is covered with scars that glow in the dark.. But nobody ever says anything about how freaky Shepard looks..

Why did they cut it? That would have been a really sweet scene. I don't know why they didn't make a scene like that for all the LI's, it seems weird that no one ever stopped to ask Shepard what happened/how he over come the situation.

I can't understand why they would have cut such an awesome Ash/Shep scene, it added so much!! Too drop it was such a loss...

That's as beautiful as all get out. I can't tell whether that's a romance-specific scene or just a friendship one, but it works so darn well either way.

Heck, so much great stuff had to be cut out of this game.

Crazy that this was cut...I'm not a big Ashley fan but it's totally fitting.  Out of everyone on the Normandy, she'd be the one to ask this.  I can only imagine how much better the game would have been if they'd left stuff like this and the Anderson scene in.  Oh Bioware...

Love or hate ashley, this would have added another layer of depth to the characters, mostly sheperd and ashley.  It makes me wonder, as well, what other scenes were left out or cut from the whole.  I don't care if dialogue such as this is 50+ more hours, I would have wanted to see it and its variations.

If it really was deleted scene that's unfortunate. But good stuff often ends up on the editing floor. If the voice acting was recorded and available they should be able to weave this back into the story.

Multiplayer was worked on by a completely different team, so your hate is directed at the wrong thing.

This should have stayed in the game. But I guess they didn't want to muddy up Shepard at all. It's difficult to armchair quarterback this thing in hindsight but I'm glad I saw it now.

Anyone have screenies of an alternate ending? lol

Multiplayer was worked on by a completely different team, so your hate is directed at the wrong thing.

Took up space on the same discs, though. The hate is not entirely misdirected.

It got deleted because we needed space for Jessica Chobot and multiplayer. (Which should've gotten its OWN disc btw!)

They should have played up Shepard's insecurities more about this. When Shepard just kinda makes a comment on Horizon to EDI about it I was just kinda like "where did that come from?". So, I think they should have had more of scenes like this one included in the game.

Still, the sure fire way you can tell that Shepard isnt some incomplete version is by looking at Liara. Liara has joined consciousness with Shepard on several occasions (more intimately if you romanced her) and if there is anyone who could definitively say that Shepard is 100% it's her.
