Seriously, Ash was light on content already after she gets back onboard and they remove this from the game. I'm a sad panda. Please put this pack in with the EC.

This is very similar to the conversation with Kaiden that is actually in the game but because Kaiden doesn't hold the same religious beliefs as Ashley it was slightly different. Maybe they left it out because it touches too close to deeper religious beliefs and didn't want to run the risk of offending those that hold similar beliefs in saying that they, Bioware, know what happens.
So they had dudes having sex but won't have a scene in their because it has to do with religion? Haha. That scene would have been awesome! Man I wish the script was never leaked in the first place.
Pretty much. There is a group of people who are still allowed to be and encouraged to be offended. You get to guess what group that is.

Is this scene really cut from the game? Looks like a bunch of reused screens from Ashley's romance scene
They are. The guy on Reddit found it in the script and put the lines together w/ the romance scene to make a kind of storyboard like device.

The actual dialogue is from the leaked script, but the screenshots are just reused from the romance scene to make it look all pretty.

And then they went and basically had Shepard talk to God, become the messiah, and the rest of the crew land in the Garden of Eden.
Yeah.
Endings are dumb. Can't be repeated enough.

So this great conversation about character trying to deal with being brought back from the dead. Gets cut - for something like Allers or a craptastic nonsensical ending.

But this scene is great, it delivers a great punch on its final moments, when Shepards questions his very existence after the Normandy destruction on ME2, i would have wanted to see that conflict developed during ME3.

Considering how Ash's faith is never identified by name, and how completely neutral this conversation is with regards to religion in any case, I find it hard to believe this could have offended. Real shame it was cut.

Ever since she mentioned god i ME1, I 've always thought Ash was Jewish. Maybe it has to do with her appearance I don't know
