After reading it, I think it fits extremely well with the tone and other conversations you had with other characters in ME3. Dunno why they cut it, but I would've LOVED to see it in game.

That could have been the most awesome scene in the game.   Ash has so little Normandy dialogue, and stuff of this caliber gets cut?

Why, why, why wasn't it left in??? :crying:

Seriously, this deserves a DLC all of its own.

Why? Seriously, why?

That would have made me feel so much better about Ashley and really continued to expound on Shepard's uncertainty, as Doomhams said.

Great scene. Don't really understand the whole "religious" problem here. Ash's character is religious. Shep takes a pretty neutral stance, he doesn't confirm or deny, just says he doesn't remember what happened, except for the events that occurred while he was alive. Pretty neutral.

"Please don't"

Why would they cut that? That was great and we have a scene in game with Shep questioning his existence so its not like it is out of left field.

Ash kinda had the "FINALLY" feel in ME3 all build up and climax, you never really get to experience her... this scene would of helped

This is very similar to the conversation with Kaiden that is actually in the game but because Kaiden doesn't hold the same religious beliefs as Ashley it was slightly different. Maybe they left it out because it touches too close to deeper religious beliefs and didn't want to run the risk of offending those that hold similar beliefs in saying that they, Bioware, know what happens.

Perhaps, but Bioware gladly added homosexuality to their game without any thoughts of subject sensitivity, why would they suddenly draw a line saying, "probably better not go there..."? Not sure that I agree with the logic or reasoning, but given the agendas people put forth nowadays in their "work", who knows?

Why did they cut this? I've honestly been wondering about Shepard's reaction to their death since the beginning of the second game.

Not to mention, she had very little to do in the third game. She came back to my ship but had nothing to say! This irked me, particularly as I romanced her! I expected something!

yep same. I wonder how much dialogue was cut.

I wish they had left this in.

This was actually something I wanted someone, anyone, to ask Shepard about. I thought it would be an interesting conversastion, and would raise a lot of questions/thoughts.

They should seriously release DLC just adding a ton of dialogue. I'd pay for it. The game now is so sparse.

If anyone is offended by this then they seriously need to get their heads checked. And I say that in the nicest way possible.

So they had dudes having sex
but won't have a scene in their because it has to do with religion?
Haha. That scene would have been awesome! Man I wish the script was
never leaked in the first place.

Lol, sorry. I was just speculating. I have no idea why they may have left it out. I have seen much weirder reasons as to why things get left out of games/movies/books/etc.

I think equal rights and religion are two seperate entities.  We're more inclined in the future to accept homosexuality as something that is not odd, whereas religion, it seems, will always vary.

Bioware, any way you guys can release a complete extended cut for the ENTIRE game sometime in the future? I'd love to see more moving scenes like these that were left on the cutting room floor

That was nice.
I never liked Ash, but this could have been able to turn that tide, I think.
While lying on the floor hungover as hell didn't help her at all.

Great work by that person putting it together using in-game screens, and thanks for sharing. This would have been a great scene to include. I would have liked it with, you know, a few player-driven choices in the dialogue to reflect the Shepard they've built up over 2 games, but hey.

This looks great, finally getting some insight into the nature of Shepard's death. I can see why they removed it, though.

woulda been great scene. biowares artistic integrity kept them from putting it in because they didnt want to be accused of saying there is no afterlife and pissing alot of people off.
