yeah I can see why they cut it...first it does cut to the core of religon and it's not really for Bioware to say what somebody who died really saw or not. I would of liked the scene but I can see why they went away from it
I think the scene takes great pains not to make a statement on religion one way or another. He says he can't remember and they both conclude Ash won't get any answer from this example.
yeah I just edited that I also think it had to do with Ash questioning her beliefs. Maybe they prefered her being totally commited to her religion

So sad this got cutNot only is it a brilliant scene, but Ash's dialogue on the Normandy is sparse as it is. I hope they'll put this scene in via DLC along with the chat with Anderson that got cut.
This.
Ash's hangover scene is funny and all, but that's her only scene? Really? This one is somehting I've been saying since ME2 someone needs to ask Shepard. That Ash would be the one to ask is all the better!

It wasn't.
Those are lines from teh script, including the possible responses from Shep done to screenshots of the conversation before the love scene

Keep bumping this thread until someone from Bioware comes in here and gives some sort of answer why something like this that adds so much to two different characters would be taken out. And I dont want to hear this "shying away from religion" crap, because that's just a cop out.
This is that we as fans need to do. Bioware showed that Shepard died, then they just throw it out the window without letting the fans know what your Shep went though.

I also thought it was really weird that NO ONE asks what it was like for Shep to be dead. You'd think that would be a question s/he'd get a lot.

ea probably pushed some really hard deadlines on bioware. resulting in cut content, rushed content, and who knows what bioware had in mind but couldnt do because lack of development time. just imagine if ME3 had an extra year or 2 of development time
I don't want to, it's too depressing.

My Ashley is dead and I wouldn't romance her if she wasn't, but I'd be glad all these emotions that don't fit my Shepard weren't forced on me.
In game Shepard is meant to be you (the player), so if you died and then somehow you come back to life you wouldn't question what happens after death? Or would you be just fine knowing that you died and came back to life?

That was nice.
I never liked Ash, but this could have been able to turn that tide, I think.
While lying on the floor hungover as hell didn't help her at all.
However this may have made the drunk scene make more sense.

But watching the slide, I thought that Shep would have brought out a multicoloured red, blue and green light...
Was almost disappointed that the troll comic didn't happen. But I was plesantly surprised with how it turned out.
Shouldn't cut dialogue like this.
