I love Bioware, I want to work for them someday, I was devastated when EA bought them out, and now I guess everyone is seeing EA's horrible tech support bleed into Bioware.

It's a shame, so many people have the "unable to load area" problem and nobody's helping, This is a serious issue and I do not know what to do about it.

I am sick of everone saying "blah blah blah Toolkit" I HAVE IT FOR 360 THERE IS NO TOOLKIT.

I have all 3 DLC's installed and have installed it to the hard drive, the problem area is Caridan's Cross, and I realize I am coming off as a jerk, but there are so many people with this problem and nobody from Bioware is helping them. It is just incredibly irresponsible of them :crying:

I am starting to think that the DLC might be causing this problem, there is no way I know of to disable it on the 360, so for buying this overpriced DLC (yes it is overpriced, the playtime added to cash ratio is way off) I am actually getting my game broken. Is there any way to fix this? Or is my reward for spending cash on this stuff a broken game?

Is EA in charge of customer support now? I can't imagine Bioware turning their head at big problems like these.

I will bump this thread till the internet becomes obsolete if I never get an answer, I at least deserve being told by a Bioware employee that I am screwed and will receive no help if that is the case, simply being told nothing as if I am not worth their time is incredibly insulting.

Fun fact: The mega corporation EA does not have a toll free customer support line like every other business in the world, they want you to pay for the use of their line while they don't help you

Bump

Still no help, if it was a computer problem I would try to figure it out myself, but as a 360 user there are only so many things I can tweak, I am happy to pour money into Bioware as I've been doing for years, but not if I recieve EA quality technical support when there is a big error in the software I bought

Check it out, a quick summary of what EA is doing to Bioware, I would make an online petition if I ever thought online petitions ever accomplished anything.

Is there someone higher up in Bioware I can email? It would be nice to reach someone who is actually in the company I am asking help from

Thanks for the reply, it makes me so mad that they can ignore paying customers and recieve no consequences, I mean, if I stop buying their stuff, I'm just one guy.

What do we have to do for a little tech support anyway? Firebomb EA headquarters?

Everything EA does just makes me want to distribute huge amounts of pirated software, I won't, but I want to.

I just sent an email to EA support, when it is answered I will include my original message and their unhelpful response (am I a psychic? Nope, I know it will be unhelpful from experience) here so everyone can see it.

Can I get help from someone in BIOWARE and not someone in EA support?

Venting about EA is never a bad thing..but it doesn't get you very far on the bioware forums...

Best thing I can suggest is filling out a report online at the Better Business Bureau.. The more people complain there the more scrutinized Electronic Arts will be..

I can't help you with the problem, but I can say that I worked for the Microsoft Support in germany (Games(Flight Simulator X and some older ones), Hardware(Keyboard, Mouse, Webcam, Headset) and Platform(Windows XP, Vista)) and I had to answer EVERY support ticket(E-Mail) within 2-3 hours. The EA support is inacceptable in my opionion.

I appreciate the replies, I am bored so I am venting frustration while waiting for help I deserve that will never come, I will definitely file that BBB report though, it usually is more influential for small businesses but maybe with enough reports we can have an impact
