It's released 12am PST so 8am GMT.
Wich was announced a few hours ago.
Sucks since i woke up 1 hour early before work to see the DLC since i have to leave at 7am :'(

where was it announced? I wanna make sure before I decide to stay up that late to dl it.

It was announced to be released "sometime after Midnight", not "AT midnight"; everyone's reading comprehension just sucks lol. It's safest to assume it'll be out at the standard XBL marketplace updating time(3 am PST). Not sure about other systems.

It wasn't even announced. Something said by the ME account in a reply on twitter isn't the same as an announcement.

Everyone is GMT, just America has EST, CST and PST.

The entire world does use GMT (or UTC, if you're using the more recent acronym), including America. Within countries or continents, areas like to use additional abbreviations for time zones that are easier to relate to than UTC +/- a number of hours. The states only uses four abbreviations (EST, CST, MST, PST), while other locations, such as Europe, have five.

To the point of the OP, as far as I'm aware, nobody from Bioware has made an official announcement with an exact time of release. Only that it will be done at some point today.

No clue on time but when I started up origin an hour ago (bear in mind I'm in the far east), it applied a patch to the game. HOwever I didn't notice anything different in MP

12 am PST is what I'm hearing all over the forums. So 2 hours from now

Which makes sense since the west coast is the last time zone to get to 12. So by 12 PST it's the 10th everywhere

Origin is downloading something for Mass Effect 3 right now...its 11pm here....i dont wanna get hopeful but once it says complete im gonna check it out.

I just got the patch option and it added extra slots in the character select but I don't see any new packs in the store.

Typically developers avoid giving a time, because there are almost always problems with launching it.

Epic gave an official time for Gears 3's first two DLCs and missed them badly. Probably the reason why they didn't do the same for the next two.

If you play on PC the patch you downloaded is just the patch that fixes some singe-player issues, which was stated to release on April 9th for PC and the 10th for other systems. That's why nothing new in MP yet, that wasn't the resurgence pack.
