[Common Danger]

well that was real special I spent all saved my credits tilll the DLC all my characters were were upgraded already and I GOT NO NEW ONES, WHAT A RIP OFF WITH THE RANDOM GENERATOR

all characters unlocked
all characters upgraded
no new ones

I got training for the next promotions though

I so hate that radom generator

will some one post the odds of getting the new unlocks

I bet it is 1 million packs  to 1

The new ones aren't available yet. You downloaded the DLC, but it isn't active server-side yet. You'll be able to tell when it is when Resurgence Packs are available in the store.

Or so I gather.

You know, I naturally figured resurgence packs would cost a lot of credits to encourage people to spend money to buy them and to sink glitched/exploited/excessively farmed credits, but at this rate that may not even be necessary if more impatient people spend their millions of credits on normal stuff before the DLC has even been activated serverside...

Holy effing **** people. They've already said the new cards will be available in the reinforcement packs, which are the Recruit, Veteran, and Spectre packs. There is no mysterious "Resurgence Only" pack. So the reality is, Bioware simply hasn't update the pack contents yet. Which sucks, because a lot of folks, myself included, already blew a crapload of credits we'd saved up for the DLC to come out. They better be giving those credits back for another botched piece of content.

Are you really serious? I spent all my credits on spectre packs and I didn't get anything from the DLC. I'll have to earn a lot of credits today. I hope these Resurgence packs you are talking about are real...

I think I'll laugh hard if you turn out to be wrong, because I think you are. The XBL description also implies that it's a specific pack. Notice it says 'enables'.

I think reading comprehension is something many people on this forum sorely lack.

Just to make it clear.

YOU CANNOT UNLOCK THE NEW CHARACTERS YET, EVEN THOUGH YOU DOWNLOADED THE RESURGENCE DLC.

You have to wait until BioWare releases the Reinforcement packs that you can presumably buy from the store using your in-game credits.

And no. You unlock the new expansion characters and weapons from a specific expansion only item pack, not the normal Recruit/Veteran/Spectre one you could already purchase. So don't waste your credits. Maybe they will integrate everything into the Recruit/Veteran/Spectre in the future, but I'm guessing they're keeping it separate for the forseeable future.

It could still be that the packs haven't been updated, either way some clarification would be great.
