What can I say, I grew up in Europe using GMT, only recently returned to Canada which uses different times and a different metric system.

Off topic, but this really confuses me. There is no ambiguity in the metric system. A kilometer in Europe is the same in North America. Same with everything else. Please explain. 

Also really guys? You should really know how the time zones work in the place you live in (assuming you're living here and not just taking a vacation) regardless if you grew up with GMT or not.
