Like what? Massacre a franchise (Dragon Age 2) or negating two of the most epic games I've ever played by giving a triology one of the worst endings I've ever seen (Mass Effect 3), what exactly are they doing to please their fanbase? Ignoring them?

Free MP DLC and free SP extended endings that offer the closure a lot of people were asking for. I'm no fan of the original endings but I honestly didn't expect them to just go and change them because we were angry about them. Though I think the artistic integrity excuse is crap I can still understand them not wanting to change it.

I don't like arguing ... But what you are saying is just more Complaining ... But why unravel and completely tear apart a game for just a few things you don't like As for Dragon age if a number 3 would to be released you would buy it ... and why is this because you want to rip it apart too ? no you play it because of previous experiences that you thought well ... ME3 ending I found nothing wrong with it because I accepted the Indoctrination theory... also DLC will be brought for the further understanding of the ending Bioware is a great company and I will support them all the way

Free MP DLC is damage control, and extended endings? I don't care about that. The ending from a literary standpoint (not me griping because I didn't like it) was nonsensical. It was FULL of plotholes and circular logic. Extending it doesn't fix it. Only a rewrite and a memory wipe could undo what was done. I love Mass Effect 3. I HATE the last 30 mins of the game.

I'm not complaining I stated my opinion. Dragon Age 3? I will not be going anywhere near it. I pre-ordered DA2 and got badly burned. If I do play Dragon Age 3 it will be because I see firsthand that its nothing like 2. I admit that bioware has done a lot right, and that's why they're criticized so, because we hold them to a higher standard. As bad as DA2 was relatively, it was still leagues better than the average game.

You don't need to explain to me what was wrong with the endings. As for damage control; this is still an attempt to assuage those who were upset. Not really going to sit here and argue with you because your mind is made up but Bioware is attempting to please us. Just because you're still upset doesn't discount what they are attempting to do. I guarantee you that Bioware wasn't aiming at making anyone angry.

I know they are trying in a way to make it right and I commend them for that, nor do I think they were trying to make anyone angry but they did. They made many people angry. The easiest way for them to do that though would be to swallow their pride, admit the ending is a total catastrophe and do a rewrite. Hell I might actually pay for it if I knew they were rewriting it.LegacyOfTheAsh wrote...

Stop jumping down Bioware's throat every time something is slightly inconvenient, using the bad endings as an excuse to do so (and I hated the endings). You also have to recognize the possibility that there may be a lot things out of Bioware's hands that causes delays
