errrrrr

you do realise there are no "pro enders"

no such group exists.and never has.

this is simply more paranoia based on one person trying to invent a group to justify a silly reason for complaining.

again...there are no pro ender groups.

We're trying to prove a point. The point being that collectively, we'd rather flush our money down a toilet than be tempted to spend a dime on DLC, or another EA game.

Or, you could just, you know, keep that money and not buy anything else from EA? Or better yet, why not just donate the money to charity, instead?

The Retake movement was misguided from the beginning, but this is just taking it too far. BioWare was never going to completely remake the ending it envisioned for the series just because of a fan outlash. We should be happy we're getting the Extended Cut DLC, but now we have a billboard campaign? Okay. Makes me wonder why BioWare even tries to cater to the very fans who would go so far over ultimately meaningless ordeals.

Just my opinion. I don't post on these forums often, so sorry about just popping in here.

I don't know weather this is sad or funny after taking a break from BSN for a week. Seriously this is the utmost ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Bioware is already trying to appease you guys but now your just treating them with no respect what so ever and adds insult to injury. Why don't you guys stop living the game, or better yet get in the industry and show how "brilliant" you are.

Okay, this is getting out of hand. Seriously? A BILLBOARD? As if I thought the Retake group couldn't get any more desperate. It's bordering on mass hysteria. It's a video game ffs. And retake doesn't understand why people call them whiney and immature.

At this point, I would welcome Bioware telling everyone enough is enough. Because the people in retake that are even considering this don't deserve anything.

However...

You do realize what you're aiming to do is illegal, right? Its considered a Smear Campaign and they can sue you for it.

So basically people ate the fruits of other people work with 2 Free DLC , and that is it .
Ok so easily to appease people with 20$ dollar , and people wonder waht is wrong with the world today ?

Honestly man people are cheap , it only takes 20$ dollars to convince people to wait for it .
Ops when the extended edition doesn´t cut it ? ah yes then the 20$ dollar people suddenly cannot moan anymore.
Cause the real movement has moved on ....
Oh don´t worry they will just charge you money by raising DLC prices .. and you will moan and take no actions .

Ok honestly so basically if you are satsified ,with that , then fine so anytime you throw a riot without proper backing , it is pointless cause they can always pacify with a free DLC ...
So much for people I don´t like the ending .....

It's "fancy-shmancy" not "fancy smancy"......the middle of your statement was terribly underwhelming.  I plan to take a TV spot during next weeks Law and Order to display my disgust.

Not going to argue about whether or not I find the campaign to be ridiculous (since I had previously posted in the thread that I thought it was hilarious) but I must ask: how is this a smear campaign?

What they want to write on it ? (sorry reading the forum ..still no decision made)

they can sue the organisers yes,but the members are all anon behind avatars and nicknames.

If EA and bioware were the evil demons they are being portrayed as i suspect they would have already done it.

so they must simply view it as free advertising or just a morning joke at the offices.

Good luck, thats more ridiculous than fans suing EA/Bioware for lying about the game.   That will just add more attention to this mess, as if Bioware themselves will hammer the final nails to its coffin.

Actually everything this movement has done could fall into this term.

A smear campaign, smear tactic or simply smear is a metaphor for activity that can harm an individual or group's reputation by conflation with a stigmatized group. Sometimes smear is used more generally to include any reputation-damaging activity, including such colloquialisms as mud slinging.

Except that they'll have names and email addresses from paypal as well as bank accounts. Not to say that they would do it.

Also the billboard company probably won't allow it, because of that reason. It's a liability.

Wow, you are ****ing retarded.  If bigger companies can't take down a website like Piratebay by "suing", wtf makes you think EA/Bioware can do anything against the organizers of this movement.  They can sue all they want, they will just lose money.  Simply put, its not because they don't want to do anything against it, its because there is nothing they can do.

How about this, if the campaign was instead asking for members of HTL and the .ORG site to pool together money for a billboard that advertised their websites but not necessarily the dissatisfaction with the ending...would the campaign still be considered ridiculous?

Edit: I effed up my question.

If EA/Bioware wanted to, they could, and they would win given the actions of the people behind this campaign. They could do a whole lot, but I'm not saying they will. However, the option is there.

I was making a point retard.  If this was the case,  politicians wouldn't put up bilboards.  The point is not to insult Bioware, so there is nothing to sue about.  The billboard will make a point, and you can't sue against that.  You can try, but you might as well throw your money in a hole.

Stop acting like you guys know ****, you don't know anything.

I think this is taking it too far. The time has come now to see what they do with the extended cut. If the EC comes out and it's as soul crushingly retarded as it sounds right now, or unless the IT theory is true, then the only thing we should do is just not buy anything from Bioware ever again.

In my humble opinion going the billboard route wastes people's money, insults the dignity of Bioware employees, cheapens the argument of us retakers and is just generally a bad idea.

It's one thing to donate to charity, and we did that. it's another to throw obscene amounts of money just to "get back at them".

Let's all try and remember that just because the internet promotes anonymity, we shouldn't forget that each of us, including the devs, are human beings, should practice decency and honesty, and we all deserve to be treated with dignity, as well as preserving our own dignity.

Long story short: Take the elegant and most effective route: vote with your wallet.

silliness at it's worse, it is downright retarded...a billaboard, no Mass effect3 Logo, no bioware Logo, not even one bit of design that is related to the theme of Mass effect, and you expect drive-by to get your message?

LMAO, congrat on creating a campaign that is as unclear and broken as the ME3 ending you hate...
