Not going to argue about whether or not I find the campaign to be ridiculous (since I had previously posted in the thread that I thought it was hilarious) but I must ask: how is this a smear campaign?HenchxNarf wrote...
You do realize what you're aiming to do is illegal, right? Its considered a Smear Campaign and they can sue you for it.
Actually everything this movement has done could fall into this term.A smear campaign, smear tactic or simply smear is a metaphor for activity that can harm an individual or group's reputation by conflation with a stigmatized group. Sometimes smear is used more generally to include any reputation-damaging activity, including such colloquialisms as mud slinging.
Yeah, no, there's no way that would stand up in court. If it did, then every election campaign ever would be in the same bag, because they're twice as worse.
As someone who has worked in law, I would pay to see this suit go to court. It'd be laughed out of the courthouse. This is reaching and grasping for straws; and I believe you know it too.
To clarify my position, I wont be putting my money to this because i'm in the wait-and-see crowd for the Extended Cut. This seems over the top, even for me, but I would be hard pressed to say it's anything illegal.
