I have a modified Coalesced.bin to add some additional casual outfits and armors in the Single Player.

I do play MP from time to time but I don't use any modifications for it. Will just having this modified file cause me to get banned, I know how much EA likes to do that to their own customers.

If a Bioware employee could clarify this that would be great.

Are weapons details universal for SP and MP? For single player I give all weapons infinite ammo to be consistent with ME1. Now I've been swapping out the coalesced files so that I have a 'clean' version whilst playing MP, so just checking.

See, I get motion sickness easily, and so I modified my Coalesced.bin to increase the FOV a bit with a fix someone uploaded to mediafire. This gives a wider FOV when unzoomed and you can see most of your character's back, like in ME1.

This has been a godsend for me as my motion sickness troubles have disappeared, but I fear that this might be something that could be a bannable offense in multiplayer given that you can see more of the screen and see more enemies... though it does make all the enemies smaller and thus make it harder to place shots, so... I guess that evens out.

Still, if we could have an in-game FOV adjuster that would be great, just for when we're running around with the over the shoulder cam...

I don't see how my situation could affect MP, all it does is add some new Casual Outfits and some hidden Armors in the single player.

The worst part is when EA bans you, there's really no point in arguing because it's gone for good. -_-
Isn't it nice how EA treats their paying customers.

As far as I know, Coalesced does not affect MP at all. I have made multiple changes to mine since I can't really do MP at the moment. But, I had a friend let me join his game so I could see what it was about, and none of my Coalesced changes were present, nor did they revert back. I've been on MP a few times now and no problem.

Multiplayer uses the host's Coalesced file. If you were hosting, all of your changes would have been apparent.

Well it does if you add in the FoV tweak. Would I get banned for that?

Only someone from BW can give a definite answer. We can already assume having a tweaked Coalesced file will not get you banned. So they are not checking for having a clean one. I can then guess they can view some sort of server logs which probably will show kills/money received and such. Then probably another logfile for purchases we make.

I have been playing with a moded fov for some time now. Among other smaller tweaks for SP. Haven't got me banned on MP.
