I just hope this guy doesn't do this to make money for himself. The Child's Play Charity was an awesome idea. The Cupcakes was meh, but at least they came clean about it.

This is just plain retarded. And yes, I think ME3 could do with a better ending. But this whole thread makes me wish I hadn't come to this forums and had to witness it. I feel ashamed in behalf of other people.

Let me be very clear , therefore .

It is preferable if the occasional pro-ender seeps into the voting pool if a large group of Retakers and anti-Enders take up the vote .

Why ? Because imagine the alternative:

HTL conducts this internal poll and finds themselves marginally in favour .

DESPITE a significant portion of even their own population against it (a BioWare mistake , mind you)

They go ahead with the plan and then , bam , all of the bad things listed in this thread by people happen .

Better to get lots of Retakers and Anti-Enders to vote and show them that this is not good for the community rather than them in their own closed room (remind you of how Hudson and Walters allegededly did the endings on their own?) somehow give themselves a "mandate" to move forward with a highly unpopular thing .

I'm laughing becuase you think this poll would have come up sometime during this "month" of planning, not just today

This has the potential to backfire on all of us, "the fans", if spin is given, and I predict it will be. If you think dealing with that single FTC complaint was bad enough, this is dealing with something a little harder to ignore (visually, at least )

Pro-ender, anti-ender...don't support this idea. Regardless of your feelings on the ending, let them know that this is a horrible way to protest when weighed against other alternatives.

This is a grave concern . And also a creepy Parallel about the whole working in a closed group thing that plagued the ending of ME 3 .

Therefore I'll have to amend my

Where is the none of the above options on the poll? I don't think it is required. I don't think an entirely new ending is required either I just think what they are planning on doing - if done properly is just fine. Just need to wait and see.

Why wasn't a similar poll posted before? Was there no consideration during this "roughly a month" of planning that people might not want to be associated with this? Also, why post a poll on BSN (in the OP) if they aren't looking for input on all fronts from here?

It's hilarious that this is playing out like ME3 did for BioWare: apparent shock that people might actually not like their idea.

The major irony here is that in order to be a BSN user able to post in this thread (or in the main game forums, for that matter), you have to be a REGISTERED GAME OWNER of the product in question. The people posting here are ME3 owners, have paid the same $60 (well, more if you went for DLC and the deluxe versions), and are fans of Bioware as well. Hell, I started playing their games with Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, have been here in 2009 on these forums, and own all of the Mass Effect series (along with the novels).

No, thank you, to your billboard idea. Glad to see their actual leaders are reviewing this.

OP already addressed this...something about not being able to edit the poll to add the option, or having to redo it...I dunno.

Point is, it isn't there, probably will never be there, and I don't suspect the OP will edit his first post to address it.

Like he should with these helpful suggestions that could easily sway voters and donors?
