Once again I want to apologize for everything. Emotions ran high, and some words were better left un-said. I'm truly, truly sorry. The last things that we wanted to do was create any further division in a union that is so sorely needed.

I'll admit it. This project is something that we worked on for a while (lets not get into the whole month debat, please) and something that took alot of effort. I naively wanted everyone to say how much they loved this project, and stupidly wanted everyone's support. I got frusterated to see what was occuring, and spoke completely out of turn. I was unrespectful and rude, and you guys deserve more than that.

That's why were putting on the brakes with this project for the best interest of the whole community.

Thanks,
KeilxKey.

You might want to color the font differently in the third update - it's black on grey, hard to read.

Oh thank the lord and the OP.

It's ok, just please consult with the rest of us if you have another idea. Deal? :)

Will do. It's been a learning process for all of us at htl, and something that we strive to improve upon in our future endevours.

Yeah, I was on the OP's bandwagon last night as well; even thought that I was making reasoned arguments. And that's in the same week that I was creating threads urging people to restrict themselves to measured, thought-out feedback on the BSN as the best way to further affect the ending.

I think it gets easy to get caught up in an idea like this when people all around you are calling you whiny and entitled, accusing you of having no life, and outwardly belittling you just because you're passionate about something.

The idea may have been off-point, but it did come from an legitimate sense of frustration. To those of you who don't like the endings, I suggest offering constructive feedback and suggestions to Bioware within the context of what we know they will and will not do. To those of you who did like the ending or feel that we should "shut up" until the dlc comes out - stop antagonizing people for still feeling disappointed.

Hold the phone, I don't mean to be antagonistic, but it's not a learning process for all of us at HTL - it's just a forum, not a group that you can speak for.

I'm sure you didn't intend it this way, but your statement implies that responsibility for this campaign lies with all of the members that use the forum. It does not.

Exactly right. Sorry, I should've been more clear. It's been a learning experience for our group who worked on this project on htl. I did not mean to bunch everyone into one group. Sorry.

No worries, you had good intentions but if this is done it will backfire like a bad afterburner and kill us all. haha

If the extended cut is god awful, then we'll shift into maximum overdrive.

It be nice to see this kind of humility from Bioware with regards to the ending. I personally admire your passion for seeking to get the message out to Bioware and EA.

I'm not entirely sure I'm on board with the billboard (sorry for the pun). But I am very glad that you actually have decided to address the rest of the community like equals rather then being condescending and dismissive like I feel Bioware has been.

This kind of listening and dialogue is what we need to keep us unified so we can get a CHANGE to the ending. UNITY

Hold the line.

It's ok. I know it must hurt to have your idea rejected. I didn't want to have to get all petty about semantics and phrasing, but unfortunately there are trolls here that are happily taking every word and twisting it out of context to further their own agendas and create a huge rift in the community.

The community made it clear they disagreed with the initiative, those proposing the initiative listened to the feedback and closed it. No harm done. I hope everyone can see that. Anyway, going to go play in some other threads and let this one drift away.

Edit: Blue Liara, spot on. Let's put it behind us and pour the passion into a new project - as a unified community.

I hope this goes up for a while, right outside EA. Remind them and BioWare of their woeful mistake and have it haunt them for the rest of the year. Make them know that we will never forget what they did to Mass Effect.

@OP,

good for you, sometimes being right means you have to stand alone. I wish you all the luck OP.

Yes, something like this would certainly be awesome. Even if bioware and ea ignores it, it would be another event that Mass Effect fans have caused. The cupcake and charity projects got widespread attention in the gaming press, and a GIGANTIC ****ING SIGN would keep the movement in the public eye. And I'm sure EA shareholders would continue to take note as well, which is what we are all trying to do, I think.
