I honestly didn't think much of him at all at first. I resented him because his first impression was that of "BigLarge McHuge", and he didn't even have the good grace to be a krogan. But after I talked to him he didn't seem all that bad. Also his reaction to F!Shep flirting? I knew he had potential then - when instead of acting like a macho meathead he totally retreated and you could see his brain flailing and screaming in panic. There's attitude there, but somehow he also seems humble, and just a bit self-deprecating. He knows he looks like a meathead so the way he presents himself sort of makes fun of that.

He just needs to be able to think of himself as being closer to Shep's equal before even thinking about thinking of pulling a move or returning the serve.

Aria... when I got drunk and passed out, I woke up on the bench beside her. I'm pretty sure she took advantage of me already. Not much of a "romance", I know, but it seems we've already had something.

That leaves... Miranda's sister Oriana. I think it would be interesting if we romanced Miranda in ME2 and then her sister in ME3. Lots of potential conversation options with Miranda over that which would be *very* interesting.
