This happens in Mass Effect 2 and 3; haven't yet tested it in ME1.
Basically, in the upper left corner of the screen there's a big ugly PHYSX > CPU in gray and green lettering. It kind of puts a hairline fracture in the immersion (in addition to the ending) and actually interferes with multiplayer (as it obscures most of the "hot bar" which is in the same location). I have an EVGA nVidia GTX 570 with the latest drivers (those that were released for ME3, apparently) and a 32" 720p HDTV for a monitor.
Anyone can maybe help a poor sucker out?
