This should be stickied to the top of this forum. Im just going to keep shamelessly bumping this in the hopes that someone from Bioware sees this and realizes that this is in essence what the ending DLC needs to be. Particularly the bits with the war assets, and squad reunions.
I could truly die happy with an ending like this, instead of what we're gonna get, something that is likely to make me come back and haunt the **** out of Mac Walters.

Nice try. But this also leaves another plot hole

So in this "happy ending" we gave the power to control the Reapers to a leader whom has a had very suspect track record (assassinated Alliance admirals, conducted Thresher Maw experiments on unsupecting colonists, subject colonists to huskification, created an army out unwilling beings).
Nice try. But this also leaves another plot hole
Did you not see all of the choices available? Also, replace TIM with Anderson and there you go.

1 plot hole in a mostly satisfactory ending > 700 million plot holes in a completely unsatisfactory and emotionally jarring non-ending...

Sure, there were a few flaws, but nothing that couldn't be overlooked or fixed with some collaboration. Even if it isn't, i'll take it AS IS, brilliant, and I thnaqk you from the bottom of my greedy heart for closure that Boware will likely never give us.

I do think that TIM rising from the grave is a bit convenient. Maybe Anderson instead? I just don't see Shepard letting TIM control the reapers, indoctrinated or not.
What I loved is how you cut to Shepard's friends and showed them reacting to the citadel blowing up. "Anyone seen Shepard?" and Miranda's "Shepard...." was powerful. That's the kind of thing the ending was missing. I can live with the three choices, but the impact of those choices should be shown on the people who were my crew, friends and lovers, as well as the races I've saved, even if it is a subtle acknowledgement of Shep's sacrafice. The real thing is, it wouldn't have taken a lot to do right the first time around---just a few lines of dialogue per squaddie, a few CG/in game engine sceens of war assets doing their thing, etc.
Hopefully Bioware watches your video, and takes notes on what worked and incorporates it into the ending. If anything, you've shown that they don't have to do THAT much to revise what's there to give many of us what we want/need (though I think a happy ending where Shepard lives needs to have some kind of pain/sacrafice in it...though seeing Shep on his LI's arm is definitely great stuff).

As well, the way you have shepard come back doesn't make a lot of sense, and is just plain silly. I get you were going for a "triumphant return," but the whole walking in through fog bit is just way too cliche. I mean, it sort of works with the reveal you have at the end... but yeah.
Also, renaming London? Really? that's just too much.
Additionally some of your dialogue is really cheesy, but I get what you were going for, which was well done.
Overall, it's well done, but there are parts that just didn't work for me. Also, hope you don't see these comments as harsh. You did a surprisingly well done job, and such effort deserves honest and in-depth criticism so you can get better.

Bump for a least giving us 1 different ending, only like 10 more to go.
I lol'd because it's true.
Anyway, I liked it. It needs some work, though, but definitely better than what we got. I appreciate how you worked the ButtChild into this, although I still consider him a mass murder who should be destroyed. The writing can be corny sometimes, but a great point was Miranda's "You promised!" and TIM's redemption, although his survival was pretty weird.
Renaming London wasn't really necessary, but a unique touch.
Gotta be honest, I laughed really hard at Shepard's lashes, but whatever. xD
Good job. Hope to see more!
