This issue is driving me crazy since release. It's about multiplayer games. I never use 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 keys for my powers, because I think it's not suitable for me. I always use my extra buttoms on mouse and E and Q key... well... in singleplayer, anyway. In multiplayer, when you use usually only 2 skills, it's very convenient to put these powers on mouse (if you have such a mouse with 4 buttoms). And things are going hell, because you CAN'T change order of your powers on bar in multiplayer game. Why it's a problem, you might ask? Imagine such a situation: I usually play as adept: Asari or Drell. If I want to play Asari, I have to go to settings, change key binding for power 2 (warp) to mouse buttom 4 and for power 3 (throw) to mouse buttom 4. BUT! When I was waiting in the lobby, vanguard or another adept showed up, so I decided to switch to Drell. Now, I have to, go to settings and change key binding for power 1 (reave) to mouse buttom 3 and for power 2 (pull) to mouse buttom 4. When I returned to the lobby screen I saw that vanguard guy had switched to something else, let say infiltrator. It's ok, I think, but I have to switch to Asari now and rebind my keys again. Everyone is pissed off (including me) because they don't know that I am rebinding keys and they start leaving the lobby, because it's take to much time. Everything can be avoided if I would be able to drag and drop power from one slot to another slot. I strongly believe that I'm not the only person with such a problem, because I'm not the only one using non-default key binding and playing more than one character. If someone from Bioware is reading this post, PLEASE, let's consider this for your next update/patch. If any player has sollution to my problem, please, tell me.

It's definitely frustrating that rebinding key's was the last thing on Bioware's mind.

As for a solution, does your mouse have any software? Some mouse drivers/programs allow you to turn mouse key's into keyboard key's, like pressing mouse button 1 means you're using ''1'' on the keyboard. (very confusing i know)

I have such a software, but it doesn't change anything, because (for example Asari again) warp is still "number 2" albo throw is still numer "3" and if I bind my mouse buttoms to 2 and 3, I won't be able to use reave at Drell, because it's still "number 1". This is the same situation and it leads to rebinding in game.

I'm totally agree with you and I have the same problem. It's very upset me and my friends. I dont understand, why we just cannot to drag the skill icons like in single player. But I think Bioware wouldn't fix that.

The way controls are bound in this game is pretty awful. I guess if you have a few main builds you play, you could try saving different 'profiles' of controls for your mouse, and switch between them based on character. Assuming it has this function anyway.
