This may be a really stupid question and i am sry in advance if it is, but can you run the caracter creator off a flash drive?
I ask this because my computer doesnt have a good enough video card to run the CC. But the computers at my work do and it would be cool if i could check the CC out during my break. cuz i dont want to install anything on the work computers.

Well... what you could do is download it from the website onto the work computer, then, when you install it, just select custom install and select the flash drive for the directory. That "should" work, but I really have no idea. Problems seem likely.

Note, you would have to install the CC while the flash drive is connected to the computer you intend to use. Or else it almost certainly wont work.

So I had istalled the game on my Flash Drive earlier and i just tried it on my brothers computer and it worked. Well it got to the menu page but when i hit start like on my computer got the message for no supported video card because my brother has the same card.

Do you think that this means it will work as long as i find a computer that can run it, it will work? Even though i installed it using my PC?

Or have i just not gotten far enough without the right card to be able to get to the error if it doesnt work?

There's probably additional bits which aren't downloaded to the specified folder but to the system files. I remember when I was installing that it did something to my C++ library I think.

Just to test it, I installed a copy on my flash drive and ran it. It worked and I was able to use all its functionality, albeit a tad slowly.

I have it on my external hardrive, I didn't do anything special, same concept? And yes it runs a bit slower than my home comp.

But could you possibly run it from your flash drive through your Ps3?
