On the Berserker Power tree the last upgrade states that it gives something like -25% weight to equipped shotgun weapons, only the K. Soldiers cannot equip shotguns.  Is this a typo or is the power for this class incorrect?

Also why does it seem like using the Krogan's charge ability causes the game to lag?  I have been in games where there is no lag but after using the charge attack five to seven times enemies start to warp around the area as if the match was super laggy.

Yes, soldiers CAN equip shotguns. My korgan soldier is using one now (and ONLY a shotgun). If you are unable, there could be two reasons:
you already have two other weapons equipped, OR
something is wrong with your loadout options

In the case of the latter, which would be a REAL glitch, that's what you need to report it as - loadout problems. The powers themselves are fine, you'll get more helpful aid referring to the loadout.

Yeah it was a loadout issue then.  I passed my K. soldier along to the N7 thing for the war assets and started another and this new one can use shotties.  Not sure what the deal was with my old char.
