Sorry if this has been posted 1000 times before. I tried doing a search, but didn't receive any results.

The title pretty much says it all. When logging in to the DA servers via Xbox Live on my 360, it says that the connection has timed out. I've double checked all of my hardware firewall settings (ports and the like) and everything seems tip-top. It's worth noting that I'm connected to Xbox Live just fine...

I've tried contacting EA live support, but they just blamed on my router and ISP... pretty typical canned response there.

I really just want my profile to be updated so I can view my stuff on my PC. Is anybody else having this problem?

same at me. we are advised to email EA about this. But I dont want to stay in contact with EA, nor do I feel so in the future :) If you could be so kind, I wont...:)

Supposedly the issue is being escalated to a higher support tier at EA. Call me pessimistic, but I'll believe that when its fixed I suppose... in the meantime, I suppose we're pretty much stuck. Sucks! I like seeing all of my progress when I come on to these forums. :-)

It's not just you .. lots of people have this problem.. If it's just the DA server error you don't have to worry too much.. you can still play the game and some things will still update to the site... like achievements and sometimes your character will even update.. (very rarely but it will.)
If it's the problem where you can't connect at all and therefore can't load up saved games or play with some of the DLC that is a much more worrisome problem.
This post might help you a little more than I can...

Dont even bother with EA's customer support. They either blame you or call the problem a result of gameplay, which gives them the excuse to not do anything.

Yes, I had already figured out that their support was rather lacking... I can post a chat transcript of my wonderful conversation with them if you'd like? It's a pretty text-book example of what not to do when trying to provide useful support that actually resolves the issue at hand.

Anyways, hopefully somebody figures out a fix for this soon.... I really like the online features of this game.
