Here's proof: Read the DLC's description! It says it right there that the items will be in special reinforcment oacks.

No, it says they'll be in reinforcement packs, ie spectre packs, veteran packs, and/or recruit packs.

They'll be in a custom DLC Special pack. <.<'

Right now everyone is freaking out because even though the DLC pack has gone live, BioWare hasn't updated the system that actually allows you to unlock the content.  Thus, thousands of people are throwing credits away buying reinforcement packs that don't yet have the cards for the new content in them.

yep got it. though have only used one spectre pack and a veteran pack and haven't unlocked anything yet.

Which was only stated in a video from PAX.

It wasn't even stated in THAT video.  They only said they MIGHT release a booster pack along with the DLC on a temporary basis.  Suddenly about 3 people hear this and go trolling in forums saying the only way you can get cards is through special DLC packs.  It's nonsense.

Considering the store is updated by the servers & the DLC isn't provided by the servers?

It's likely we're gonna be waiting til midnight GMT & beyond for a pack update.

We have NO SOLID IDEA what is actually gonna happen.

We vaguely know that there's gonna be a special pack with guaranteed resurgence contents but does that mean it's permanent? WE HAVE NO IDEA.

Downloaded it, but I haven't got anything new yet. Just bought a spectre pack and got two new characters - Drell Adept and Krogan Soldier. I can't wait to unlock Geth Infiltrator.

We are just throwing away credits, but I imagine there are some people out there who spend Microsoft Points to buy those packs...

Good plan, BioWare.

Release new characters and weapons but don't update the unlock system. Lots of people then waste their credits they saved to unlock something they can't.

At least a small percentage of players won't be able to wait around and play enough matches to buy the packs once they're unlocked so they'll buy BioWare points instead.

actually it's ingenious, now some of those people will problably spend real money when the packs are unlocked.
