I just thought I'd quickly mention that a video I watched (about 3:00 minutes in, ) mentioned that the Resurgence Pack will come with it's own multiplayer box. IE, getting the new characters and weapons is still random, but when the new stuff is available, you should be able to make sure you get ONLY new stuff.

actualy its both this and the norm
they will be added to the normal packs but rare, and this pack will be temp with only the dlc stuff (to get as much as you can before it goes away )

Nah, I'm in Victoria, Australia and it's only 11pm on the 10th. New Zealand is 2 hours ahead of us, so Kiwi.

It's not like Australia doesn't have plenty of sheep...

For a look deeper into the future, you might want to get into a boat in NZ and head east. But take care not to get too far out or you'll be travelling into the past.

Reports say Reaper forces are deploying Nightmare Sheep.

These maniacal Reaper contraptions jump into sky and disappear. Alliance is having trouble counting the sheep and experiencing a deep lack of sleep.

Speaking of time zones, I was curious about exactly how late we're talking, and Bioware can't meet any April 10th midnight launch anymore.

They only had 4 hours of breathing room to say "It was still midnight somewhere!", but that passed just over 2 hours ago.

The 'update' was likely released at midnight. It looks like that was a 47MB precursor update to prep the game for the DLC.

We'll likely see the actual DLC at 5pm PST, if history is anything to go by.

Tricksy BioWare.

EDIT: Actually, it's probably held up in politics at the EA side. If Microsoft has it, then clearly it wasn't BioWare's fault.
