It's not like the BW staff are sitting around laughing at us while teasing a big red "RELEASE THE DLC" button.

I went ingame and have noticed that space has opened up for the new characters in the character select screen, but that's about it.
those spaces been there since the start
Nah, they haven't.
Take a screenshot? I remember there always being a blank spot after the 4th character. Only one that has it filled is soldier, and that's if you own the Battlefield 3 kit.

This. If they were there, I didn't notice, but I just noticed them. If they were there, they definitely got bigger.

It actually shows how much EA cares about the gamers it calls customers, they don't.
It's also why I've stopped playing almost every other game that carries their brand.
One just has to go through the patching fiascos of the need for speed series, or hell even bioware's massive mangling of "One scheduled update a week" turning into six updates over a holiday week, then every week after that, to just stop caring.
As a direct result my wallet now has more cash in it, funny how that works.
There is no need to go grabbing the pitch forks against EA just because the FREE dlc is a little late. It's early in the morning for them. They could be staggering release to reduce human/server workload or they may be a small problem. People need to stop beating on Bioware and EA every time there is something small.

so what happens for the people who habe BF3 kit? they get smaller icons, or a scrollbar?
Scrollbar I reckon. Unless that's too technical and they need to make the icons smaller. Oooor they just make the icons smaller and start using character rows of 5.

Agree, why all the hate? You clearly enjoy the game or you would not be waiting up to get the download.
Be happy that they have made it for us.

By the time I wake up, hopefully we'll have it and some people will have unlocked some stuff. If not, I'll just wait till the Resurgence Pack appears in the store.

You forgot the part where you burn their houses while they sleep!

You pretty much hit the nail on the head describing the entitlement on these forums
I honestly used to think Bioware fans had a bit more sense and maturity, apparently not after DA2 and ME3.

And in the afternoon, when any bugs are announced, they'll take measures to fix/prevent it so I don't get screwed over.
I advise you kind, sensible folks to do the same.
