I honestly used to think Bioware fans had a bit more sense and maturity, apparently not after DA2 and ME3.

I mean sure, I don't care for the ending much either...but wow..if people had as much passion for things that really matter..as they have shown for their displeasure of a game ending..  just saying.

Part of me wants it to come up soon just so I can see another round of impatient/impulsive people posting "I just wasted 6 million credits on specter packs and got nothing, this is bull**** I want my credits back bioware lied to me"

It's more of the fact that the whole reason EA wanted to use Origin is because they can get updates and content out faster but clearly right now they're showing they can't even do that. Which raises the question of why the scanning garbage is required.

The problem with the above statement is you are assuming people DON'T have passion for things that really matter.
Who are you to say the people up in arms about the ending aren't filling their days with awesomeness towards humankind, I voluenteeer at a loca St. Jude hospital, I am also returning to college to persue molecular biology, because I want to find cures for those kids.

Start a movement, sue them, and pay for billboards to advertise your displeasure. It's what we do about video game things we don't like now apparently..

This is free DLC, they didn't have to put it out for free or have to put it out even at all, you realize, right? Also, do you actually have any proof that Origin supposedly "scans" your computer? It's just made up hog-wash from over-entitled Steam users from last year.

Plus, the updates don't go out as soon as you want them, just like any game. Just be patient.

EA wanted to use Origin so they could stop giving Valve a 15% cut (or whatever it is) for every sale on Steam. Plus the fantastic Steam sales means more people are buying it and they're making more money overall... but those people COULD be paying full price and that's "lost" profit!

Taking it away after giving it is also extremely rude.

Anyway there's heaps of threads on the subject of the fanbase, shall we try to keep the atmosphere more cheery?

We're getting some free DLC soon, surely that's worthy of a toast of good cheer.
