You pretty much hit the nail on the head describing the entitlement on these forums
I honestly used to think Bioware fans had a bit more sense and maturity, apparently not after DA2 and ME3.
It's more of the fact that the whole reason EA wanted to use Origin is because they can get updates and content out faster but clearly right now they're showing they can't even do that. Which raises the question of why the scanning garbage is required.
This is free DLC, they didn't have to put it out for free or have to put it out even at all, you realize, right? Also, do you actually have any proof that Origin supposedly "scans" your computer? It's just made up hog-wash from over-entitled Steam users from last year.
Plus, the updates don't go out as soon as you want them, just like any game. Just be patient.
