Well some people would find it OK if someone was giving you free candy, only it actually contained cyanide But hey, as long as it's free!

Though to clarify I'm not in a big hurry myself, but still, "free" is only an excuse to a point.

It might be free but to be honest, it's the principles that matter. Regardless of whether it was free or not, it should be given the same amount of attention and 'respect' as any other DLC. If you're going to say you're going to be doing something, you do it, and you do it well.

I didn't receive any patch yesterday at all, and that was up to 2am. I only got a 41mb download this morning at around 10. Unless you mean 7am.

Any game that is released on the Xbox 360 and the PC may NOT be patched on the PC until the 360 one is ready to go, this is the standard Microsoft contract.

Nope, it's definitely something that EA has a habit of, others just patch the game when the patch is ready.

I'd think the latter applies since it was stated there would be packs for this, repeatedly. So if you just blew all your credits, I can only chuckle politely.

Anyways. lookin like DLC won't be up on PC for good bit and even then we have to wait for them to update shop.

Read what?  There is literally nothing to read that says the cards wouldn't be available at the time of DLC release.

All we have is an offhand answer to a question at PAX about the possible existence of a DLC-only resurgence pack that would be placed in the store.

The packs being referred to in the official blog announcement, REINFORCEMENT PACKS, are RECRUIT/VETERAN/SPECTRE packs.
