So, did anyone get the two new maps yet?
When I entered the game, there was a patch 1.02, but I didn't get the maps, it was written that it contains dlc..

No. The dlc will only be available later for the US, probably when the ps store updates and tomorrow for the EU.

The patch is just a patch, it has nothing to do with the resurgence dlc.
Resurgence will be available today on PC/360, and, as the PS3 is always the butt of the joke, today in NA with the store update, tomorrow on EU stores.

Because the dlc is already available on PC, and will soon be available on XBL. PS3 have to wait their respective store update (later today in NA, tomorrow in EU).

PS Store is notoriously slow for adding things. We won't be playing the DLC until evening PST I am sure. At least we got to see other people make the mistake of wasting credits. lol

This. When it comes to an update that has something cool or something people really want, Sony tends to drag their feet on getting the update out the door, so US PS3 players likely won't be playing with the new stuff till late today and of course our Euro brothers have to wait till tomorrow...

I'm not fussed though as it's multiplayer and I don't do multiplayer, but to platinum ME3 (Yes!! I am a shameless trophy hoarder - and I don't care what people think ), I may have to bite the bullet.

Datapad app? That's Iphone only and I'm an Android user.

In my case multiplayer is the only way

I really don't get why people want to avoid multiplayer for their plat.

I mean do like 5 matches and you have a noticeable difference in your readiness. No time at all and who knows you might like it.

Secondly, as someone pointed out, you don't NEED multi for a plat. It just makes it easier

yay, a fellow trophy huhter!

and yeah, you will have to do around 17 MP matches to get the ME 3 platinum. It's worth it because unless youve made some very exact choices in ME2 - and ported said save into ME3 - you do need to up your default 50% readiness in order to get the "maximum war assets" trophy (forget the name now)

Us EU players being made to wait is nothing different, SCEE are pretty useless, took them 4 years to put Resident Evil 2 up into the store

Does anyone know if you will have to take a chance on getting the new characters in packs like the rest or are they ready to use as soon as you download them?

When your region's PS Store is updated, either today (US) or tomorrow. (Euro)

Also, you will have to buy packs to have a chance at the new characters and weapons. Everyone will have the maps by default.

Seems the PC users that bought a pile of packs got screwed over by a big OOPS. Even WHEN the PlayStation Store finally gets updated, you may want to check that thread to make sure EA's server is unborked.

what i find upsetting is Sony's lack, of consumer ethics. As always we here nothing from Sony's PS Network relations on network updates , even when major updates to games are highly anticipated. if feel like a beaten step child who is locked in a closet. what is the major malfunction with relations across all counsel platforms, from xbox and their crap, to ps3 on beach time....... at least Origin and bioware have there sh*z nit together for PC platform.
