if you want to buy spectre packs go ahead, none of the new stuff  seems to be up yet bar the maps and we dont know if they will be in Spectre packs, they will be in the Reinforcement packs like the original launch info about the DLC said. 

Launch info never specified which packs (except for PAX video which many did not see), but I'm sure there air smells great up there.

See I assumed the reinforcement pack was a new pack as the game doesnt actually say on the other packs "reinforcement pack"    probably why i got a little confused. Still not spending anything until I know for sure its all up anyway.

Miffed, yes.  But I've got bigger woes in life, current or future, that will require more energy (sick kids, nonsense on the job, repairs on vehicles/house, grown up stuff).  In the mean time, I put my big boy pants on and suck it up.

Having your priorities straight and feeling better than others deprives your ability to have an opinion on anything considered mundane from his "big boy perception" Yes even though you have sick kids, a job, and you want to hit your car with a screwdriver, you can't allow yourself to be irked by a video game. Because it's not as if  you invest the money you earn and the finite time frame you have to play it. So it's SOOO hard to comprehend how someone with limited time to fit things like Mass Effect 3 multiplayer into their schedule would be miffed. 

Miffed, yes.  I can understand.  But losing my mind over it? No.  Bigger fish.

Yet here you are with the rest of us refreshing your browser page, following a thread, where's your kids, car, and job right now? So you have better things to do but here you are hm.....are you insinuating that I am losing my mind over the irritance this DLC has caused me? No but is it still irritating and does the blame fall on the company who can't follow through with their own projected time lines? Well I do believe so.

Who said anything about special packs? Link please... Have to say I haven't seen ANYTHING (including the Blog Entry) that said anything about special packs. It just says Reinforcement Packs which can be Recruit, Veteran or Spectre packs as they are reinforcement packs as well.

they can delay it but they wont.. its not their fault a server went kerplunk.. they are working to fix it and get the **** to us today.. and if it doesnt? so? we didnt pay for it, they are giving it to us for FREE, be grateful atleast, hell, even the endings people complained about will get a free dlc to improve them

I have downloaded the DLC, and loaded up MP. The characters are there but locked, but there is no special "pack" to buy. I'm afraid to spend my coins on spectre packs, if they are releasing a new content pack specifically..

I'd be miffed if the data was wiped and nothing was done about it, maybe.

For all their faults, Bioware are maintaining a lot of data here and mistakes will happen. At least give them a chance to fix it/respond before losing the plot?

I'm not the one who's mad. But forgive me when I say that if I was that guy, in the same situation and all my crap got wiped, and I spent as much money as he did (apparently he spent a lot). I would be livid as well.

I don't see the value in getting angry when you could just send an email to support and see what they say first. Get angry if they start giving excuses and not helping, but until then you should really remain a little more collected than that guy chose (not) to.

IT doesn't matter if it's a game, a meal, a chair... rational analysis and response trumps irrational raving every time.

I get lunch breaks...and I'm not losing my mind over a video game either. 

I'm not insinuating anything.  If you're vvsomethingorothervv, then I'm outright telling you.  If not, then I don't know your issues so I can't insinuate.
