The new characters and weapons are TECHNICALLY obtainable, but most people won't see them appear in packs until there "internal server error" is fixed.

What does that mean for you? Well, it's your call. Test your luck in a rigged game due to the glitch, and maybe beat the house with awful odds, or wait for Bioware to get their act together and spend the money after the announcement of the fix, allowing for a much more fair odds for everyone buying packs.

It just sucks that the people who saved up and spent their credits before Bioware noticed the error will get shafted.

Cool, gives me some time to save up some credits, I'm completley broke. Bioware should be maybe give out some kind of complimentary pack for the people who wasted $$$/credits going for stuff they thought were out though , really sucks for them.

Plenty of people have given account of unlocks on characters and weapons, No one said "go spend all your money" but technically they are obtainable. Just like ME3 multiplayer, not everyone can play even after their patches. If you're effected by the glitch, you won't see the characters or weapons, if not, you have a chance. Smart move is to wait.

Well the files are out now, so hes not lying in the most blatant form.

But in order to currently unlock them you need to do some illegal modifications, the same type that allowed you to use the battlefield 3 soldier in the demo. Unlocking without needing to unlocking is the most plain way I can describe it.

wait so my game actually shows the characters now, is it finally fixed?

I know there was an error and only the maps were available, but now my thing shows the characters on the character screen. is that the good to go? i have 3 million credits but i'm not spending a single 1 till i'm sure =)

then again i'm sure they would update this post if anything..

The 360s normal update day is Tuesday and always has been. Arcade games release on Wednesday.

Weiss you should cut them a little slack, this is their first multiplayer game (not counting TOR, different studio) and they had a server failure. It happens.
