Yea it is a big deal. Especially when you buy packs and waste time/money only to learn you can't unlock a damn thing because said screwed up. Look at it through other peoples eyes. Not just your own moron. Weak ass argument.

For the record it's not actually FREE if people are spending real money on these packs to fund the damn thing. Less herp, more derp. I'll remained pissed until this **** comes out.

No-one is forcing people to spend real money to buy the packs though.  It's like FtP MMO's.  You don't have to spend a penny.  But you can if you decide to.

Don't think I'll actually buy anything until BW releases their weekly special pack. I don't feel like buying Spectre Packs to only be rewarded with lame character cards which I already have when I could possibly get a specific pack with a better chance.

I for one spent all my points thinking i downloaded a proper dlc. Excuse me for not thinking hey i should go keep the forums to ensure this is jacked up. I never spend money on packs but i bought 800 ms points just to get some new characters as early as possible. Noped screwed.

When i logged in earlier on XBL, i bought two spectre packs with some MS points i had leftover, and then the option to use MS Points vanished, which i assume was Bioware trying to stop people wasting real money.

And this is why I consider the "release day" of a DLC to be one day after the posted release day. Seems like there are always issues on day one. (Hence the ever popular day-one patch) Patience is wisdom. My condolences to those who wasted their 500,000 credits on regular packs.
