The Spectre pack doesn't say I can't get new aliens or weapons. Does that mean that I can't get them?

you get them , but the odds are as low as any other character Rare card

For those who're wondering how to download the DLC.

1. Open Origin
2. Right-click on the Mass Effect 3 game "cover" icon. Select "Show Game Details"
3. It should now show you all the basic details about the game, CD keys, dates and in the bottom all the add-ons you have installed.
4. To the right side of the game title there's a button called Shop for add-ons, click on it.
5. It will now open up a separate window, here you can "purchase" the content.
6. You will now see the downloaded add-on the "Game details" list.

YES! Thank you. I truely, truely appreciate it. I couldn't download it when I clicked on downloadable content in the game. It didn't react to my purchase button clicks. Only with this help could I obtain the DLC. Phew.

I right-clicked ME3 in Origin, Check Update, no use. That particular method doesn't work. Just saying.

out of 3 premium packs and 2 spectre packs, i got geth infi and the harpoon gun. im so stoked to try them out!!!

Don't use that method. Right-click , game details, shop for add-ons. 

Or, in the games main menu, click "Downloadable content".

I'm too dumb to find anything, and I haven't gotten a checklist of how to activate it on PS3.
For reference, my Spectre Pack has the added line, "Now with a chance to find new aliens and weapons when the Resurgence Multiplayer Expansion is installed!", but I don't see Firebase Hydra or Firebase Condor so I can't tell if it's really there or not.

Cool, I played the two maps last night but held off on the Spectre/Premium packs until I was sure this was working (plus I need a lot more credits anyway!)

Can get rolling on them today!

If you can't see them appear on the 'choose a map' bit then, yeah, sounds like it's not quite right.

Pick the Downloadable Content/New Content (can't remember which it is) option on the main menu screen, and it'll give you a list of everything available. If the Resurgence Pack has Free next to it, rather than a tick mark, then download it from there.

If it has a tick mark next to it and you still don't have the maps, I'm not sure there...

Bah. PC Gamers complaining about getting treated badly. It's us PS3 users who miss out. We get half the weekend events and us in Europe have to wait a few extra days for anything to happen.

Everyone misses out on something, but you guys get the worst of it more.  The EU community is dead for ACV, it's actually sad to talk about.

It's nice to see the spectre premium packs contains the new characters too. They put the "Resurgence decription" only in the standard Spectre packs and several of my friends feared they were the old premium packs.
I thought they would include the resurgence content,. It seems I was right

I bought 18 Spectre standard packs yesterday and I got Geth Infiltrator, Geth Engineer, Batarian Soldier and Asari Justicar x2. I also found a lot of useful rare/N7 weapons: Paladin, Black Widow (now level 3), Disciple, Geth Plasma shotgun ( I have it a level VII), Carnifex (level VII too), 2 Widows; just to quote few.

I suppose I cannot complain after all. Next time I'll buy the Spectre Premium packs, I hope I'll find the new weapons.

Any of you already used them? Are they useful?

remember after installing the pack on ps3 you have to restart the system before you can get the new stuff, i learned this the hard way
