During the previous event weekend, I promoted a whole bunch of characters, including the Vanguard squad. I didn't look at the Vanguard again for a while, but when I did, I noticed something strange.

They still retained their previous character names. I looked at the other class tiers to see if any of the other characters I 'd promoted had the same thing going, but they didn't. Weird, but I didn't think much of it.



Eventually I decide to go and level up the Vanguard teir, to make use of the upgrades I'd recieved from equipment packs.

So I go to the power screens and see that their power readings are things like -84 and whatnot, with all the skills they had assigned before promotion still assigned.

So I went ahead and played a couple of games to see if leveling them would reset this bug. I also tried all the skills to see if they actually worked.

My level 10 Vanguard was shooting, blasting off Novas, surviving multiple hits from Ravagers and taking on Brutes head on. And they leveled up, too, and that didn't do squat. The negative skillpoints figure just adjusted to reflect the level up, but that's it.

Yeah I just had the same thing happen to 2 of my classes. I'm finding it really anoying

This is occurring with both classes I promoted during Operation Raptor (Infiltrator & Engineer) except that my power usage is affected. Sometimes I can use the powers, but most of the time I can't.

edit: The only work around I've found is to respec your character, but this is only an option if you've aquired it through packs in the store. After using it though, no issues whatsoever.

Tried playing with it recently, and its really buggy with the skills. Unplayable-buggy. So bump, for help with resolution.

I think this bug affects all classes since I've had it happen to my adept class as well. I don't know if BioWare fixed it with the new DLC but I might promote again to see if it has or not. Some official word on this word be great though.

Not trying to annoy anyone by bumping this thread (again), but I'd still like to know if anyone has experienced this or knows a fix. I only have so many respec cards.
