Yeah I know I'm playing a mage purposely to beat the game on nightmare because its probably the easiest way. Call me a noob, laugh, mock etc etc....but ad-mist all of that please help me build my mage .B) I'm planning on a BM/AW mage and I just can't find a way to build this appropriately. Please help me out and give me some advice along with talents/attributes help. Thanks :D

Depends on what your mage is gonna be. You get 3 mages total your PC, Morrigan and Wynne. Wynne will start off with heals and Morrigan with some DPS in primal, and entropy.

I think getting the cold tree in primal is very helpful + the healing spells in the creation tree. There is also 2 very useful spirit trees if used properly.

I heard Bloodmage and Arcane Warrior was a popular dps build

Thats my opinion

Having no Rogue in party is stupid , you'll miss out on literally thousands of free xp and hundreds of free gold without one

max out mage talents, mana clash, cone of cold, crushing prison. push willpower and magic equally.

Here's a build. This has a large amount of crowd control with pretty respectable damage output. Its not totally self sufficient though. You'll probably want a second mage in the party for backup AoE and also for healing.

Winter's Grasp -> Frost Weapons -> Cone of Cold -> Blizzard

Heal

Mind Blast -> Force Field -> TK Weapons -> Crushing Prison

Disorient -> Horror -> Sleep -> Waking Nightmare

Vulnerability Hex

Spec Spirit Healer

Group Heal

Spec Blood Mage

Blood Magic -> Blood Sacrifice -> Blood Wound -> Blood Control

thats 19 talents points worth of spells. should be able to finish that up by about level 16, give or take. you'll be able to develop one more spell line going into the endgame if you like but it won't matter very much what you take since this build covers your bases with all of the most abusive spells.

equipment build should generally emphasis spellpower. you'll almost definitely want to use Wintersbreath for your staff and stack +cold damage gear (like Ashen Gloves and similar). You've got a nice amount of spirit damage available as well so consider boosting your +spirit damage as a secondary strategy. the build has excellent crowd control and should be able to easily kill or control nearly any enemy.
