It's not a bug. The only files available are Ashley, Kaidan and Liara. If you didn't romance any of them, it defaults to the latter.

As for me, I chose Jack, Jacob and Thane. I think that speaks for itself.

People say she's 'easy' in ME1 but then who isn't? Just because she comes onto you first hardly makes her any easier than simply talking to Ashley/Kaiden.
Also I think her character arc is the best, she changes so much and LotSB helped that hugely.

I romanced Kaiden in ME1 then Garrus and Thane in ME2.

But of course, Thane had to be MASSACRED like so much else in ME3. I was so disappointed with the way they handled his romance. It was just godawful. And then Garrus didn't even get a sexy scene? How hard is it to have a Turian without a shirt on? Sheesh.

My favorite will always be Thane I think.

Garrus and Thane are far and away my favorites. My favorite Garrusmancer was all about the big guy. My Thanemancer had a thing with Kaidan, then was forced to Virmire him for additional pathos.

I plan on doing runthroughs for most of the romances eventually.

My maleShep it was Liara then Miranda. I haven't played him in ME3.

I chose Kaidan in ME1, but by the time Shepard met Thane in ME2, her heart only had room for Thane.

And then ME3 came along and well...let's jst say that the word disappointment doesn't cover it.

Come on, who can cheat on her after she risk HER LIFE to get you back from the dead, if that doesn't show she loves you to death (literally) I don't know what is. Besides, she actually developed into a complete character by end of ME1, and she jsut keep growing on me

Kaidan, no one, Kaidan. Will definitely be doing more romance run throughs (as long as extended cut is good :/) and will start with Thane and then Garrus. Even though Thane romancers get kind of tricked, really like his character and Garrus is just so fumbly and akward about the romance it's cute.
