Femshep had Liara through all 3 games.
Manshep had Ashley through all 3 games.

In both cases my LI abandoned me at the end and got stranded on some far off planet. (WTF BW???!!!)

My canon FemShep only ever had eyes for Kaidan.  I have a 2nd FemShep that romanced Kaidan in ME1, then Thane in ME2 (Garrus is my bro, but too many pointy parts for anything more . She'll go back to Kaidan in ME3 if the endings ever unsuck enough for me to want to finish another playthrough.

Then in ME3 gay romances were put in, and yes I am in fact gay in real life. I tried romancing with Kaidan but missed my chance on the first play-through by not visiting him in the hospital. So I got stuck with Cortez but I didn't mean to. I actually was going to stick with Tali but, I starting the romance with Cortez before I saw Tali so she was like: "Yeah I know about you and Cortez blah blah blah". In the end I wasn't mad about my decision.

ME1: Ashley. I thought Liara was great but went with Ash
ME2: Miranda. Liara out of the picture and come one it's Yvonne Strahovski!
ME3: Liara. She REALLY grew on me in ME2 and Lair of the Shadow Broker and her one on one segments in ME3 were my favorites. Where are my blue babies!
