Look around, see what community thinks. Ignore press. If reaction positive, possibly try.
OK, It´s summer and the Extended Cut is out! What will you do?

Download it, watch/play it... make a decision on whether BioWare have managed to pull off a miracle without actually changing the ending... make a decision on whether or not I buy any future BioWare games.

Download and play it with all my Sheps while maintaining a media blackout so I can't spoil it: win or fail, I want it to be a surprise...

See video of the new and improved ending......and then decide whether the "clarification" is enough to get me to finish ME3 and/or invest more into Bioware/EA products.
Honestly this "fix" will either make or break Bioware. I hope they realize the severity of the consequences should they screw the pooch again.

download and cross my fingers that it redeems the series. I'm... more open minded to the ending than I was but if the mass relays still f!** everyone up or if our crew is still stuck on Gillagen's island and we don't get some sort of 'happy-ish' outcome possible (happy is very loosely used here) then i'll still be annoyed.

I think I won't care that much. Maybe I'll just watch what it does on YouTube and not play it myself - that's what I've done with most other DLC and I don't regret it that much.

Download it immediately since it's free and hope that something is salvaged from that fustercluck of an ending.

It's a little difficult to say whether I liked or did not like it if I haven't even experienced it.

- Download it with all world´s hope for an end that makes sense.
- Wait for some positive feedback in the forums and them go play it.

Well it's make or break. If they manage to save the ending and make it worthy of ME3, than HURRAH!
If not then I put the Mass effect series away, only to look at the ME1 and ME2 boxes foundly and remember the good times.
Then I put Bioware and EA squarely at the top of my **** list.

Download right away, because, well, whatever. But not play immediately. Wait for feedback (preferably without spoilers). Try it out myself. If good, hooray. If bad, spread the rage, then repeat five stages of grief.

1. Download it. It's free anyway.
2. Wait for feedback.
3. If it makes sense, I'll finish my game and see the ending. If it still doesn't make sense, I'll leave my save file as is and stick with my imagined ending.

Since it's free I will download it immediately without going to the forums at all. I'd rather go into it free of preconceptions.

Play it, and if it doesn't deliver, accept that Bioware is gone. The cycle continues.

Assets join the fight + Biowares version of indoc + explanations = continued patronage of Bioware/EA
Not even one of the above = it was nice while it lasted thanks 4 the memories n all that, plenty of other game developers out there.

If it's good then I'll celebrate but if it's bad then I'll never play mass effect again most likely.
