Lorewise, I wouldn't cry foul if there was a new Blight rather soon after the last one. There are plenty of odd things going on (the Architect and Corypheus) that could account for two Blights being so close to eachother. However, I don't think it would be a great choice from a world-building perspective. "Welcome to Thedas, this is were the Blights take place". That would make the entire setting feel small and concentrated on one type of plot.
Am I the only one who wants a blight for DA3?

According to the wiki that I looked at out of boredom and after doing the Legacy DLC referencing the old gods...there are two left who haven't been tainted yet. So I'm expecting another one. Or two. It'd actually be nice to break up the war between Mages and Templars.
I just hope I'm not forced to be a chantryman or seeker because the new Templars are super crazy, especially Kirkwall ones. They're ruthless madmen. At least the ones in Ferelden weren't all crazy and selfish "save ourselves from all mages who are ALL easily corrupted."
I think I also have a bias because I ALWAYS play the mage first. LOL.
Also, for those who played Awakening...did anyone side with the Architect? I gotta say, it would be pretty freaking awesome if he came to help with the new blight. Hopefully he won't betray everyone though. He seemed sincere enough...but now I wonder...

You'd think what with building an extensive rnetwork of roads under Thedas, the dwarves would have stumbled upon a sleeping dragon or two pre-Blight.
Personally, I think they may have, or at least came close, hence the Primeval Thaig.
That's what immediately came to my mind, actually. Or it could possibly even be some sort of ancient Pride demon. Also, in response to the "only 2 old gods remain" thing... Is it actually put forth in the lore that the archdemons definitely are old gods or not - cause I didn't think it was definite, just a belief. And if it comes to that, BW could just pull more old gods from other races, instead of making the elven gods the same as the old gods, for instance.

Not me, I'd rather wait for a few more DA's before another Blight is setup. If the templar vs mage war does cause the Dark Spawn to rise up again in some indirection action I am fine with that.
