Just played as the justicar. bubble spec'd for defence.

me and a regular asari adept stayed inside the bubble, me throwing reave, her throwing warp, and we annihilated everything once we got that routine down pat.

perfect support class, as long as you're supporting someone with a brain.

Side note, hope they fix lobby screen to show Justicar so I could swap between both if another asari is playing: AA + AJ = BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Seems like it may be more useful as a support class. Max reave for defense, bubble for defense, leave out pull, and max fitness, she could make a pretty good mission runner or reviver. I like the thought of the offensive bubble but it seems too circumstantial of a tactic, and if you try to set up the right circumstances it seems very dangerous. As nice as warp perk sounds for explosions seems just way to high risk. Unless you set it up spec it for duration and drop it in a high traffic area at the start of the wave to get a jump start on the wave, but just seems so much better as a defensive class.

I find it to be very handy for hack/activation objectives. Especially if you can toss Reave out on somebody. Usually, I'm praying for somebody to give me some covering fire as I take an objective. On a Silver match I was able to toss out a Reave as I was sprinting for the objective, dropped the bubble, and activated the objective. With three Geth firing on me, I didn't even drop to half shields.

It helps out surprisingly well with the exfiltration round. Doubly so if you can snag a Geth Engineer who's specced their turret for maximum shield restoration. You virtually don't need cover at all.

Choke points are insanely handy with this power, seriously. A smart team (with Warp effect) can keep almost anything from phasing you. Geth Primes are still annoying due to their stagger effect, but still.

My goal is to get a KS, AJ, GE and SI in one group. The first three are the ones that I'm drooling over the most -- together, we could "bring bad things to death." (I will accept beatings for that awful line.)

Specced mine full offence. (got it in my first pack)

i have to say its not worth it. full defence looks better.

1 thing about the bubble... there is a timer on warp. and its something like 5 seconds. i can do 3 reave with 2.3 cd and only every other one detonates.

the assault rifle weight reducrion means i can sport a mattock with +185 cd.... so it almost plays like a soldier with reave/pull.

still getting used to the class, but its pretty solid for a reave pull class...

Spec offensively, drop at choke, Reave just before they enter, watch each one walk into bubble and detonate itself? Sounds incredibly good.

It is.
And if someone lived through it, the bubble recasts warp on them. So you can explode them even more. You can BE bosses each and every time your reave is off CD if they are in. It's a no brainer.

Wouldn't Reave detonate like half the enemies inside the bubble at once? (Admittedly, nothing but a boss would survive that). Would you potentially be able to kill, say, a Geth Prime, and its drone and a couple hunters in a single blast of annihilating goodness?

earlier on firebase white we kept a prime locked down in a bubble. warp cast on him and two pyros we detonated them which took most of primes shields, destroyed his drones, and killed pyros. that same biotic explosion severely damaged two hunters that were just outside bubble. this was with just one detonation on gold in the famous camp spot. speccing into support is a waste on gold imo. you should not be relying on it to keep you alive since you drop so fast in gold anyways. support could let you tank on bronze and probably help on silver though.

Never really thought of it being an offensive type. I wouldnt mind if it was as I personally hate the Reave/Pull combo. Though I still want it to be a defensive ability. Would be great for objective waves.

I built my bubble as an offensive bubble .... Hey Banshee look out for my bubble! It's a trap! .... No? Ok now that you're constantly being warped eat my rave! Mwahahahahahahahahahahahaa!!!

Yeah that's one of my pet peeves at the moment. Would be nice to tell who's a regular adept and who's a justicar. Sofar I've been lucky and only had another justicar once but as more people unlock it I see it happening more and more.

also fun fact pull + bubble = explosion
works if you have warp evolution

I've actually used a respec card to change from offensive to defensive bubble.
At first I thought you could place the bubble wherever you want (like the stasis bubble) but you can only place it right on top of you... so that makes the whole offensive part kind of useless, I don't want enemies getting this close.

If you read the skill description, it says "create a bubble... surrounding the caster."

Dmg is kinda low without a combo bonus like the AA for an offense spec. Unless you couple it with another AA. On its own, solo....the BE procs don't do alot. Really tricky to set up traps, almost needs a longer duration for that. Simply running into a wave to drop it in a good spot is suicidal, at least for me. Guess it would have been super OP to have warp/pull/bubble instead? Lack of BE boosts makes it sort of meh. Thinkin defense spec might be best way to go for me.

My biggest annoyance is the reave sound, wish there was a way to tone it down. It is extremely loud, why?

Haven't gotten this character yet, but it seems like the offensive bubble would be better if you paired up with a close-range character like a krogan so you could tear through enemies close range.

After playing her for a while I think she's better as a support tank. Max bubble for defense, and reave for defense. Offensive build requires either letting the enemy run up to you or you running up to the enemy which ruins the point IMO.

Haven't got the justicar yet either but im gonna spec her bubble defensively when I do. It seems more helpful as a team player to me.

Well I played a gold match or two on firebase white with a justicar and a bunch of adepts.

It was awesome. They had the justicar set up the bubble for offense with warp and just constantly spammed shockwave. It destroyed literally everything with biotic detonations going off almost every second. It was too bad I was using my kroguard but he actually survived a long time, I could even take on banshees. Got grabbed a couple times but the dets got me loose.

So awesome! /)^3^(\\

Pretty much. I was a high shielded decoy.

The geth, at least some of them, seem to reguard the barrier as a freaking wall. i was playing and they were avoiding entering the bubble like it was the black death(this was speced to give max shield regen and protection.)

We played with a geth eng. with a turret specd for shield recharge along with an asari justicar adept. I was a Turian sentinel. The Justicar had their sphere specd for max damage reduction and my armour was specd for max damage reduction. While grinding on gold I could stand in front of the counters for most of the game attracting fire. Even a Geth prime full salvo does not break the shields.
I had a geth plasma shotgun X and was basically a stationary cannon.
