Only a 10% damage reduction?
That sounds wicked useless.
It should simply provide 2 seconds of invincibility on a 20s cool down independent of the GCD.
fully upgraded defensive bubble is amazing.
full 40% DR for anyone in it, as well as up to a 30% decrease in shield charge delay.... for nearly a full minute.
now combine that with geth turret shield regen upgrades...
on top of that the justicar, if he has defensive reave, can hit something around 80% DR.
ive sat on top of grenades in gold matches and not had my shields taken down. ive been hit by a nemesis in a gold and only lost half shields. ive been shot at by 4 phantoms all at once in a gold and lived. ive taken 2 full ravager salvos to the face in gold and lived.
hell, just finished a gold match, against reapers, on firebase white, where the team sat at the elevated intersection teams camp out on in bronze and silver... and we only had two deaths the entire match (last two objective rounds where we had to leave the bubble).
but yea... i can see most people going offensive with it, if they use it at all. why? because you do crap all damage as a defensive justicar build.... and when people don't see a high score, they think they're not doing anything useful.
although, if spec'd for damage and dropped in a chokepoint with a decoy inside it does make for a very nasty little trap, especially against geth and reapers.

Side note, hope they fix lobby screen to show Justicar so I could swap between both if another asari is playing: AA + AJ = BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Yeah that's one of my pet peeves at the moment. Would be nice to tell who's a regular adept and who's a justicar. Sofar I've been lucky and only had another justicar once but as more people unlock it I see it happening more and more.
just sidescroll over to the weapons check screen and see what abilities the other guy has.
if you see that he has bio sphere also, you know one of you should swap.

you do realize this thing lasts nearly a minute with max duration upgrades on the justicar racial? That's, what, 1/2 to 1/3 of the round right there if you drop one at the start?

This, exactly. This is a really fun combo, regardless of if your teammates join you in the bubble. Between the bubble, reavestep, and the Saber firing, you also have the most obscene and evil sounding class in the game.TLK Spires wrote...
defensive bubble, hard hitting aoe reave, saber.
**** yeah.
I'm more and more convinced that mid/heavy weapons are the way to go with the Justicar. Had a lot of success last night with the Saber or GPS.

Going to try using saber and take the assault rifle evolution in next build. Getting super bored using the Carnifex....for like every class, anyways. /yawn.
AJ seems to be a very very support based with little instant gratification (mad kills!) and needs a team to shine. Sadly I am always 3rd or dead last in points unless an AA is around and we work together even then they usually wreck me at the end tally. Essentially due to low point scoring potential over all, people tend to think I am not doin much.
As side note, people started whining about reave sound bug and try to kick me...heck, I want to kick myself since it literally drowns out every other sound totally on my end.

Doing Reapers Gold with a friend I'm the reave slave. So all we do is run around with a human vanguard and myself reaving everything. Whatever he might miss in the pack I would Warp Bubble to clean up.
He died once which left me alone. And we all know how good pull works on a banshee... Kited around everything by AOE reave, let them get close to me and popped a bubble. Took down two banshees, five brutes, four ravagers, bunch of misc crap solo. So yes an offensive Justicar is workable. Not only that the Justicar doesn't feel like a college rule paper like the AA/DA.
Just the two of us managed to do gold run in and around 19mins because our third was bugged out and just stuck in the middle of the air.

I find the whole adept class awful in pugs. No one wants to Warp/Reave/Throw with you which makes taking things down longer. I mean sure I enjoy taking things down solo but I rather be doing with a someone else to make things go by faster.

imo the bubble actually makes pugs more tolerable. you get a hack objective and a bunch of idiots who can't figure out that turrets hurt... toss a bubble down and it buys you a little time to deal with the 6 turrets that got setup while your idiot teammates focused on the least threatening enemies.

After testing it out, I'd go defensive for sure. The biggest draw back is that you can't place it somewhere other than right on top of you, meaning it is easier to use it defensively than it is offensively. Even with the warp ability, using reave to detonate just does not have the damage that other biotic explosions do to make it anywhere near as useful.
This is my thought as well.
In bronze easy. In silver maybe. In gold? Better bring a SE to help.

Spec offensively, drop at choke, Reave just before they enter, watch each one walk into bubble and detonate itself? Sounds incredibly good.
The geth, at least some of them, seem to reguard the barrier as a freaking wall. i was playing and they were avoiding entering the bubble like it was the black death(this was speced to give max shield regen and protection.)
This happened to me too. There was a small army of enemies camping right outside the barrier at one point. <_< Granted, it was nice that the Pyros were keeping their distance, but annoying that it made the Warp evo useless.
Also, not sure if it was a bug or not, but Hunters don't get warped when they step through the bubble? I had a couple of 'em come in at one point, tried to BE them with reave, and nothing happened. Maybe something to do with them cloaking?

It seems the new adept is pretty much useless. If you get into a bad
group - people just run around and never stay under biotic sphere. If
you get a decent group - they try to stay inside and use barricades
properly.
I've tried both of the last updates to the sphere and
they both sucked - you can't get close enough to enemies so bubble would
envelop enemies and they can't get close enough to you since you
suppose to kill them before they do.
Damage reduction does not
seems to be as high as description claims, then again same thing goes
for sentinel krogan - he supposed to be nearly invulnerable and yet
takes quite a beating even when specced to max damage reduction.
I
am also disappointed in pull/reave combo. Its weak (biotic explosion
only works on enemies that are floating in the air) and its annoying
(the sound).
Overall - justicar is not as powerful as asari adept.
im guessing a 2 justicar and 2 regular adept combo (or 2 justicar/1 asari/1x salarian engineer) for farming geth on firebase white would work better than usual with 2 justicars at either side of teh consoles with warp bubbles out, any geth approachign can be thrown/be'd the second they approach the console/bubble.
guessing it may work seeing as regular adept with 200% has an insane recast time on throw and if warp is applied immediatly on the justicars bubble then thats be heaven for the regular asari?
might even work on other maps considering the ok range of the bubble.

just reinforces the fact hunters seem invincicle while the cloak is up, guessing youd have to shoot it off then warp would work.
