First, you'll notice I actually posted this in the SPOILERS section, as it's appropriate.

It wasn't hard, it wasn't difficult, and it didn't hurt.
Please learn from this.  No one knows "you" via a pic of your "profile," so posting in the more "popular" forum in no way enhances or betters the "real" "you."
Seriously -- just post where you're supposed to.  STOP posting spoilers in the NON-spoiler section!!!
[angry smiley]

Now then.

Just finished my 6th full play-through, and I'M SICK AND TIRED OF CHILDISH IDIOTS ON THIS SITE PASSING LIES LIKE THE TRUTH!

Weather it's the 'proper' way to build an Archer, weather it's obscure side-quest minutiae, or weather it's how to fight a battle...

...I've read SO MUCH BULLCHITE here that I later play, test, and PROVE to be LIES...

JUST STOP IT!

Do NOT give advice when YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER!

The most recent case in point, I just used the Werewolves in the final battle.
I remember reading some joke talk about how "they sucked" a couple of weeks ago.  Well lemme tell ya somethin!

Watching those beasts gnaw away at the archdemon was like watching nanobites work away at the computer core of the Enterprise, or watching outsourcing work at the American economy, or like watching...  some other example of small, relentless forces gnaw-to-death what seems like a superior thing!

Hell, the damn archdemon was dead BEFORE I KNEW WHAT HAPPENED!

I was still playing with the Darkspawn minions from the first side-doors, and the verevolves had the Archdemon beaten down to near-nothing!  It was less than casual playing.  (I coulda walked away from the computer and let it run it's course)

Yet, had I listened to the WRONG 'advice' given on this forum, I'd have never used them.
Seriously.
DO NOT SPEAK UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!

Or else qualify it with:

"I'm not sure, I've not actually done it myself, but my know-nothing, ignorant, attention-needy self tells me to type this cause it makes me feel good cause I think it gets me attention"

response.

Lemme guess...

...how dare I ask people not to spread disinformation?!?!?!?

Seriously count to 10 and relax, or take your hissy fit elsewhere. They are not people are not posting lies they are posting incorrect information, and in most situations they are innocent mistakes. Chill out you will live longer.

No accounting for taste, you know. Alot of what you listed are examples of different opinions, not lies.

Also, **** the werewolves, they suck lulz.

Hey guys, remember that time when we were watching nanobites work away at the computer core of the Enterprise?

Good times.

Is that the one where Data is like "bbzz bzzz 1 010 111" and then Worf goes "rrrrrrrrrrrrr"? I love that one!

Someones opinion is just that, their opinion.

Also, depending on how the dice treat you even strong characters can die easily. If you ever played D&D or neverwinter nights, think of rolling a 0. Pretty much auto death for you. If that happened you could come to the incorrect assumption that whatever class/monster that was sucked. Now however, people talking about outright lies, is somewhat annoying.

LOL!!

You know what I really hate? People who can't play a game once without running off to get hints in a forum or a book that costs 30 bucks and then decides that the advice he sought wasn't good enough so he pulls a "Leave Brittany alone!" tirade complete with tears and snot.

Maybe, just maybe, this game is about a story more than what hits the hardest, and people play things in different ways, and what works for some doesn't work for others.

But, on the upside, anytime someone complains about Alistair being whiny or having a hissy-fit from now on I'm just going to copy this post and tell them it could be worse, way way worse.

Must be storming at your end because weather is what we experience. Whether you really want to communicate or not your spelling needs improvement.

So...how 'bout that orgy in Redcliffe? You know, the one where every single party member joins in?

My drow spear & shield cleric/monk/druid loved every minute of it!

Meh, just tired/bored, and about to roll out.

Yeah, a roll 1 or 20 was 'troublesome.'  But it was cool that it tried to account for "random elements."

IDK, but I'm guessing the thread is getting adequate responses (hitting close to home?), despite apparently being "garbage," proving it's point that most apparently deny.
:P

But yeah, that's all accidental 5 mintues later.
