So...how 'bout that orgy in Redcliffe? You know, the one where every single party member joins in?
My drow spear & shield cleric/monk/druid loved every minute of it!

And I'm not trying to be mean or flame the community or anything. It's just that for a gaming forum, this one seemed to be the most uninformed one I've ever been to. However, I'm slowly starting to realize that his may be because DAO has SO MANY different variants, that you can play it multiple different ways and achieve the same result.
So it may be that people on here are not lying or clueless as I first believed, but just that everyone got through quests and built their characters their own way. And though advice can be helpful, in Dragon Age we're pretty much left to our own devices.

Out of over 2 dozen responses, only 2 or 3 stayed courageous!
Yeah, it's all me
Keep being cutesy and clever -- that changes everything. (well, till ya go to work tomorrow)
EDIT: "courageous" = either ignoring and moving on, or just answering the topic w/o knee-jerk spewings

REVEAL: It's not about the actual "topic," but about the theme behind it, and the mindset of the responses. (which obviously weren't too difficult to predict)
You see, those who actually see this as the idiocy that it is, WON'T BOTHER RESPONDING.
Those who try to be oh so cutting and insightful and clever and smart-assed, like all over this forum and soon, unfortunately, in TOR, just reveal themselves. But let me guess -- there's an insightful, smart-assed response to that, too?
That's kinda the meta-theme to the whole thing.
It's kinda a circular argument (the ego, and it's excuses), but I like holding up the mirror anyhow.
But there's hope!

First, you'll notice I actually posted this in the SPOILERS section, as it's appropriate.
It wasn't hard, it wasn't difficult, and it didn't hurt.
Please learn from this. No one knows "you" via a pic of your "profile," so posting in the more "popular" forum in no way enhances or betters the "real" "you."
Seriously -- just post where you're supposed to. STOP posting spoilers in the NON-spoiler section!!!
[angry smiley]
Now then.
Just finished my 6th full play-through, and I'M SICK AND TIRED OF CHILDISH IDIOTS ON THIS SITE PASSING LIES LIKE THE TRUTH!
Weather it's the 'proper' way to build an Archer, weather it's obscure side-quest minutiae, or weather it's how to fight a battle...
...I've read SO MUCH BULLCHITE here that I later play, test, and PROVE to be LIES...
JUST STOP IT!
Do NOT give advice when YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER!
The most recent case in point, I just used the Werewolves in the final battle.
I remember reading some joke talk about how "they sucked" a couple of weeks ago. Well lemme tell ya somethin!
Watching those beasts gnaw away at the archdemon was like watching nanobites work away at the computer core of the Enterprise, or watching outsourcing work at the American economy, or like watching... some other example of small, relentless forces gnaw-to-death what seems like a superior thing!
Hell, the damn archdemon was dead BEFORE I KNEW WHAT HAPPENED!
I was still playing with the Darkspawn minions from the first side-doors, and the verevolves had the Archdemon beaten down to near-nothing! It was less than casual playing. (I coulda walked away from the computer and let it run it's course)
Yet, had I listened to the WRONG 'advice' given on this forum, I'd have never used them.
Seriously.
DO NOT SPEAK UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!
Or else qualify it with:response."I'm not sure, I've not actually done it myself, but my know-nothing, ignorant, attention-needy self tells me to type this cause it makes me feel good cause I think it gets me attention"
Lemme guess...
...how dare I ask people not to spread disinformation?!?!?!?
Yeah. Totally.
And for those of you who STILL think werewolves suck, you probably have failed to do the "full moon" sidequest....

It's whether dude... Weather is what's going on outside... You know... That big ole place with the sky? The place your pasty body hasn't been in awhile?
Doesn't ring a bell???
Oh well...
(rofl jk man... but please turn down the nerd rage... while entertaining... it's well nevermind don't turn it down. I'm enjoying it too much.)
On to the OP's more direct point from his original post.
People have their opinion's on gaming... It's just like the saying goes... Opinions are like buttholes... Everyone has one and they all stink.
Personally I enjoy putting out pointers or guides for classes or quests or w/e. I find it fun, but you can't stop the misinformed or ignorant from posting threads of their own. That's the beauty of a single player game, make a save, experiment. If it works, awesome post it here (Werewolves pwn face being an example). If it doesn't post it here (Werewolves are more like puppies then wolves... don't use them).
Now.... Continue your nerd rage. I need some entertainment.

Also, you should build Archer by putting all stat points into Willpower, and the Juggenaut Plate sidequest items can be found in Redcliffe.

So, let me see if I got this straight. Your master plan was:
1) Act like a moron.
2) Listen to people laugh at you for being a moron.
3) ???
4) PROFIT!
. . . uh, good job?

1. opinions =/= facts (and there ARE facts in this game, but don't be bothered with those when you can spew you)
2. it's good Achievements don't mean anything, since you don't have hardly any
3. werewolves perform better than than even golems vs archdemon ~~ (potentially)
