Same thing for me. Worked fine yesterday, not working today. Did an update check, repair install, got nothing.

Crowax, mrdefender: For god sake, read the posts first! You have to download DLC update.. solution was already posted, just read it! BTW, I thank Cowshi for the solution.

And I just joined to the "DLC not authorised" party. Was looking forward to play couple hours of single player today after work, but it decided not to work anymore.

I waited an hour, tried again and it was fixed - definitely seemed to be a temporary issue.

However, I was unable to play for two weeks with the same error message, but that was a deeper server issue I suspect (was only fixed in the end by getting a new game key). There may yet be some people on this thread with that problem who may remain affected.

If it's not fixed for you in the next couple of hours then I'd hit EA with a support ticket and see if they can help.

I wrote that i already tried that check for updates fix and it didn't work..

Checked for updates and I'm still getting the error, this is very frustrating as a couple of hours ago I was playing with no problem and I've changed nothing in that time.

Space magic. This is the kind of nonsense we should not have to put up with in a single player game. I paid for it, authorized it once, and that should be it. There should be no blocking me out because of their crappy servers. I should not even have to access their crappy servers any longer since i've already verified that I have a legitimate copy of the freaking game.

Here's what happened. I got this issue and started reading the first, to last post. By the time I got done. (Thirty mins or so.) I logged back in and the issue was fixed.

...apparently it's a common issue.
I find this by following a (big) chain of link, ending in an old old dragon age forum, with a similar method. :whistle:


ps: for new ones who didnt see previous help:

launch origin
click on the "i" (information about me3)
then right clic on dlc & check for updates at both, it will tell you it's completed after a few seconds
launch game
enjoy

(just worked perfectly for me)

Sorry to hear you're having issues.

Make sure the DLC is completely downloaded  (as mentioned in the previous post) by clicking the i on the Mass Effect 3 game box in Origin. 

If you still have issues after verifying the DLC is downloaded/installed, please Talk to a Game Advisor at http://help.ea.com. They will need to verify ownership of the account/game. Once verified, provide as much information as possible so the agent can work to resolve this for you.

My thoughts exactly. Its really annoying that I cant play the game if servers or my net connection is down.

hmmm yeah with so many players having this problem I really don't think it's on our end.  Especially since it's now working with none of us fixing anything...

Mine still isn't working. The EA authentication servers still believe that my account does not have an online pass attached to my account and therefore, none of the DLC will authorize. I spoke with representatives and they said that it is a known issue. I informed them that I had already tried redownloading the DLC and checking for updates for the DLC and nothing changed.

Still having the problem - in the process of doing yet another repair install through origin as per the ea help.

Update:
The repair install didn't work, neither did the manual removal / reinstall that ea has on their site.

Also, when the Online Pass screen comes up, and I try the redeem option it says "Enter CERBERUS code" with $315184 underneath it. Trying the purchase option for the heck of it gives the error message "An online pass is required...."

I just don't know....

I think the $315184 is a string asset that the game is trying to find but can't. I tried putting the new code EA gave me and this still shows up. Local machines aren't the problem, it seems to be something related to account management with server-side credentials.

Really weird. I had the same issue yesterday. I exited the game and exited origin. Then restarted the game again after a couple minutes and I could load my savegame without any issues. I played for 15 minutes and quit.
Half an hour later I started the game again and I had the same issue again.
