Oddly enough, I only get this problem when I'm connected to the internet but the game can't connected to the servers. If I'm offline, it doesn't do that.

I just really wish it could check the damn DLCs once and get it over with, I mean it's kind of silly to check it every single time.

Still no change on this issue still can't play because of the "Online Pass" issue. I would like to finish this game someday....

It's been a month with no information about a fix, all I know is that there "is an inconsistency" with my account.

Yeah me too...Retail Collector's Edition
From Ashes and the Online Pass.

I really don't care about the online pass, but I would like to have all of the collector's edition stuff and the prothean teammate that I SPENT AN EXTRA TWENTY DOLLARS FOR AND WAITED A WEEK FOR THE GAME TO ARRIVE!

(Update: Disregard the above, Got it working after getting a wireless extender and working with a live chat representative.)

Same issue. Online pass code is nowhere to be found, not in Emails, nor in Purchase history. Can it be found? And I can't buy another Online pass code for twenty dollars either...

Hey guys, here's a solution that worked for me, but I dunno if it's been proposed yet or works for other people. I talked to someone from Origin live chat:

Abhishek:
Please try the below steps :

1. Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys at the same time
2. Click the "Processes" tab.
3. Click on the gray bar in the middle column that says User Name to sort by user name.
4. Do NOT select anything for SYSTEM, LOCAL SERVICE, or NETWORK SERVICE.
5. Click on anything besides EXPLORER and TASKMGR for this User Name or other user names.
6. Click on END PROCESS
7. Repeat these steps until only explorer.exe and taskmgr.exe are open for this user profile.

So basically...kill some processes (I realized I had like 7859458409 tabs open on Firefox and Chrome. Don't ask why I have two browsers open).

Edit: I originally had the exact same problem: having dlc work before, but then having this weird cerberus code invalid unauthorization, blah redeem, blah no dlc blah.  Couldn't connect to EA servers either.

Rebellion screwed me up; I believe in the same manner. It wants me to log into the "Alliance Network" with the account I used to "purchase" Rebellion. Just unbelievable.

Glad I'm not the only one! Well, I mean, I'm sorry that it's also happening to you or anyone else but unique problems are always worse.

Actually, it looks like our problems might be unrelated. I was able to authorize Resurgence, for instance, and it still works fine. They REALLY shouldn't have released free content as DLC if there was any potential for "authorization" problems. This whole situation is profoundly idiotic.

SUCCESS. I removed the hidden file onlineprofile.profile from C:\\Users\\*name*\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\Config and it works. Apparently ME3 stores the list of authorized DLC locally, and that file can get messed up.

Hopefully this works for others as well.

Now, if Bioware had gone with Steam / Valve, instead of Origin / EA, who wants to bet we wouldn't be suffering from such a problem?

Just some info as I was hit with this bug. Both 'From Ashes' and my Online pass stopped working. My first session with support they advised I remove the game with Revo and reinstall. The normal reinstall didn't work but doing it using this program fixed my From Ashes error.

The online pass was still bugged out and after two more chat sessions (taking about 10 mins apiece) they just provided me with another Mass Effect code. Redeeming it gave me another ME3 entry in Origin and when I log in I still get and error that states the Deluxe Edition pass isn't working but it does allow me to log into Multiplayer. I can start the game from either entry (so I'm going to hide one of them and one error message I have to click through isn't too bad).

So if you're just having problems with the DLC I'd say try the revo program. If online pass pester them until they give you a working code.

Edit for Clarity: This was all through Origin support live chat.

Well not sure if Revo did anything but nice to delete the files associated with ME3 that i didn't know about.

But I was able to get it to work doing this method which is similar to ME2 problem I had

1. Start up Origin
2. After logging in go to setting and put it into offline mode
3. Start the game. Once in should see on the tab in the main menu asking you to connect to EA (DON"T CLICK IT YET)
4. Tab out of the game and put origin back to online mode
5. Tab back into the game
6. Click the connect to EA tab
7. Now it should authorize the DLC. (Online pass still didn't work but at least I can play single player now)

This is the same problem I had with ME2, but with the ability to log in from inside the game removed in ME3 I never put the two together.

Won't work for others probably as this DLC problem can F you in different ways. (

This was self diagnosed no help from support

This didn't work for me but when I went back online mode I got a weird message.  It said someone else was log in into my account.  I found this strange and I am wondering if this normal to get that.

Nope, this didn't work for me either. Well, whatever, I'm already losing interest in ME3. Hope it'll be fixed in a year, when I'll start re-run.
