So, any news? 'Cause it's been almost two (or even more) months since i got the game and this annoying DLC problem with it. I got the last message from EA tech support a long time ago (I got some timeout error *sic!* when logging into EA Help Center account, so I can't say precise time), where it was told that info about that problem will be given to Bioware for further examination. And you know what? No response since then! It's kind of irritating. Not being able to play multuplayer DLC? Okay, this is not why I bought this game. But single ones? Bioware, do something! I still believe that you can solve this Origin mess!

After reinstalling both me3 and origins i went into my mass effect 3/binaries folder and ran the Mass Effect 3 Configuration Utility.. i hit save settings and then exited the program.. now i have no problem with me3 loading any of the dlc. I'm not sure why this worked but i'm just glad it did... hopefully this will help someone else as well

to play the EC just use a cracked .exe of the game. single player content isnt really an issue here, the bigger concern is multiplayer cuz the crack doesnt work for it.

Ive gone through 2 ea help agents, 1st one didnt really help, just told me to reinstall, 2nd one was actually knowledgeable, but after the steps we did he said he'd send it to a higher team, and would email me 48-72 hours later. its been 3 days so hopefully soon.

The problem is in the stored data in the Origin application. Try this - Go to your Origin Games file location and find the \\MassEffect3\\BIOGame\\DLC\\ folder. Cut or delete the data for the corrupted DLC. Reload the game, and the error message will switch to "DLC is corrupted", and it will re-download the files. This worked for me like a charm.

Actually, I have tried that, about 4 times. I have troubleshot this for the last 2 months, uninstalling, re installing, reinstalling DLC under specific conditions of from the origin client, or from the in game client.
Reformatted my hard drive twice, tried installing origin and ME3 on separate hard drives, tried installing ME3 in its own folder.

One of the problems here. is that the people who answer live chat, are given a drop down chart of things to suggest, and have no real idea how to trouble shoot on their own. (unless you get one of the people who actually has a clue and has worked there for years)
This is why in the end all they can do is escalate cases.

Orion Dino beat-down, had the worst launch in the history of video games. And it was all fixed within 1 week. Why? because the game devs read the forums themselves, and talked to people when it came to technical support. They didn't have English as a second language people gather information and talk to their customers.

EDIT: I should add, I am just getting down right angry at this, and its lack of solution. I am on Vacation from work right now. Maybe I should go say hello to the Edmonton Bioware offices, and Air my greviences, with pie.

You could just hack that with gibbed. Unless you want to play MP for MPs sake.

I downloaded the Extended Cut as well as Resurgence and Rebellion, and none of them worked
I logged a case with EA, and they sent me here. I've just read through most of the topic, and to a couple of the links to other topics as well. In one of them, it suggests removing the OnlineProfile.profile file.
It's stored in %userprofile%\\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3\\BIOGame\\Config\\
I backed this up and removed it, and restarted Origin and ME3.
It registered all 3 of the DLCs and I've just checked the available maps in MP, and the new ones are there.
I know some of you will already have tried this, but thought I'd tell you what worked for me

I agree with some of the previous posts about the EA support. It's unbelievable

Looking forward to another play-through and seeing what the Extended Cut brings :)

so I know many other people have same issue, so I''m gonna add my name to the list - unable to connect to servers, unable to authenticate DLC - have tried all the fixes, been through EA live chat, no luck

Okay, very dumb question imo: How can I back up a file? (I'm not good with computers when it comes to some things, and this is one of them.)

1. Start up Origin
2. After logging in go to setting and put it into offline mode
3. Start the game. Once in should see on the tab in the main menu asking you to connect to EA (DON"T CLICK IT YET)
4. Tab out of the game and put origin back to online mode
5. Tab back into the game
6. Click the connect to EA tab
7. Now it should authorize the DLC. (Online pass still didn't work but at least I can play single player now)

This is the same problem I had with ME2, but with the ability to log in from inside the game removed in ME3 I never put the two together.

Won't work for others probably as this DLC problem can F you in different ways. (

This was self diagnosed no help from support

Thanks!

THIS. This worked for me. Had no problems with the previous DLCs so far, but EC gave me the error, solution abo worked.

Didn't work for me :( Had this problem since the release of resurgence. How hard is it to give the paying customer FREE DLC?

Okay. Scratch that. It does not show the "unable to authorize EC" message, but still no EC.

And right now, origin live chat(both from client and site) is a big fking joke. It would have looked better for origin if there was no live chat at all.

Just copy and paste it. If something goes wrong then you can just delete the new one, and rename the copy

Yes, I have all the DLCs out there with latest updates....
tried the repairing option in the Origin several times..
and I still get the annoying message saying...
Redeem online pass and unable to authorize blah blah blah ~!!!!!!

For me, I got this error msg
1) even before installing the EC so I don't think its ALL because of the EC..
2) recieved a victory pack(commendation pack maybe) before the problem came up

I'm still trying to get it runing after installing the EC but without luck..

Hope some genius can come up with a fix soon.....

I also have this problem. I tried EA Support and absolutely no help, despite 3 live chats and promises that they would escalate the issue. I guess this is the last time i'll be purchasing something that requires activation from EA if they can't even support their service.
