i've had this problem since the day of the release with dlc

mine works if i use a cracked version of the masseffect3.exe because it does not require you to have origin open to play the game but you can still play multiplayer and get all the updates and stuff (i got the operation resurgence notification while using the crack). you have to crack it again every time you update the game however, since an update replaces the cracked exe with the original one...there is obviously a problem with origin since the DLCs work fine without it

this is might be a temporary fix but bioware still has to fix this issue.....

Hi all,

We are already investigating this issue with the Origin team. You can help us to track down the problem faster if you reply to this forum with the following info:

Which edition of the game do you own (standard, digital deluxe, etc)?
Which OS are you using?
Which DLC you have installed?
Did you get Patch 1.01?
Did you get Patch 1.02?

I have the problem with:
ME3 Standard
Win7 x64 Ultimate
Resurgence
Both Patches

Ever since I downloaded Resurgence, I get the error.  This is one of the buggiest games in recent memory, what a joke.

Yeah sure with all 3 dlc?
I already tested all "insane troll logic" solutions and invented couple of my own.
The only time everything worked was when i used Flyvpn but i'm not going to pay more just to play one game.
Can someone tell me for what is collector's edition online pass? Its not authorized just like resurgeance and from ashes but i can run multiplayer. Well actually i can play multiplayer without this 55mega file. Just please don't write me "so... get rid of the other dlc and you'll solve the authorization problem".

Since I have a friend who owns the game I tried logging in to Origin using their account using my computer, and they were able to play without a problem. They have the N7 Collector's box set, with From Ashes, same as me. Log back in as me, still can't authorize my DLC, still can't play multiplayer or single player.

Given this, and the fact that I've reinstalled and tried all manner of repair options, I believe my issue - and I suspect many others on this thread - is account related, not installation related.

I'm guessing some of the people on this forum may have had faulty installations, but this is something I fear only the server admin / account management team can resolve.

Hope you're able to get it going again soon dstrawberrygirl.  It looks like a few more of us from the other thread are getting good results from live chat sessions, so hopefully that means that more techs are becoming aware of how to help with this issue.

Granted, hopefully the solution they are giving us isn't a "quick fix", but after about a week of not being able to play, I took it!

Bump, becouse there is still no solution for that problem and yet Bioware is making events with the dlc content instead of solving this once and for all. It's getting ridiculous.

Exactly this.
I noticed one major thing about this.
The dlc isn't showing up on this website under my registered game content.

The lack of an easily accessible registration code for the content on origin baffles my mind, as it would have alleviated a lot of this issue to just let us manually add a code as well as just the download, because clearly their stuff doesn't work so well automatically.

Hey guys,
I am an owner of Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe Edition and I had the 'Unable to authorize the listed DLC. Please log in to the Allience Network with the account used to purchase the DLC. Resurgence Multiplayer Expansion'  problem for Mass Effect 3 on my Winodws 7 64bit ever since I downloaded and installed resugence DLC from Origin. However I fixed the problem by performing a complete reinstall of the game.

Here is what I did:

1. Manually uninstall Mass Effect 3. (Please follow the instruction in this Link https://help.ea.com/...3?showhome=true).

2. Download Mass Effect 3 from your Origin Client and reinstall.

3. Here is the important part. Once when ME3 finishes its installing process, you may want to restore your save profile which you had backed up before uninstalling the game, however that being said, do not copy the whole original bioware folder (which contains your local save profiles) to replace the new bioware folder that was generated after reinstalling. Instead, only copy the save file located in your old bioware folder and paste it on the new bioware' save folder. The bioware' save file location may vary depends on your operating system. For my case, ME3's save file is located at: Documents:/ Bioware/Mass Effect 3/save.

4. Now after you have completed above steps, start up Mass Effect 3 and observe whether the problem persists. If not congratulation and enjoy your game.

My method may not work for everyone. But please do provide feedback whether or not this solves your issue.

Your method doesn't work...on my last attempt I didn't even bothered to load back the folders I backup, I let Origin download the cloud the saves and let the programmes rebuild everything else, and only solved the DLC but not the "Collector's Edition Online Pass Entitlement" issus; and I'm still cutoff from all my online contents.

I tried this with a friend of mine as well.  We both have the same version of ME3, I was able to access all dlc and multiplayer from my computer using his account.  He on the other hand using my account had no access to dlc or multiplayer on his computer, and he lives about 30 minutes from me.  So the problem isn't on my end, or with my installation (Re-installed 12 times thanks to EA Advisers.)

Update:
It worked with my winXP-64 desktop but not my win7 laptop. I uninstalled Origin and ME3 and that didn't fix it even though it was the second attempt, I also deleted every Origin directory as well.

I decided that it was time for a reformat and reinstall of windows anyways to fix a partition error that I was having difficulty properly correcting on my SSD. So I went through the entire process of reinstallation of everything and now it works.

I won't know if the solution was on my computer or some server side error, but I am leaning on some odd registry issue that we have to be having with this DLC since a fresh win7 install fixed my issues where EA couldn't.

Which edition of the game do you own (standard, digital deluxe, etc)?
Digital Deluxe
Which OS are you using?
Windows 7
Which DLC you have installed?
Everything that came with the digital deluxe preorder plus resurgance

Did you get Patch 1.01?
yes
Did you get Patch 1.02?
yes

AppleLion, I really hope that your (rather drastic) solution of formatting your HDD and then reinstalling Win actually worked. I know you had other reasons besides ME3 to do so..
However, personally I don't think I am willing to go quite that far to get this DLC rocking.
I really hope that BW is looking into this issue and will provide (soon) an actual solution. Till then, I'll be just watching my overall galactic readiness slowly drop back to 50% :(

I certainly won't reinstall my Win7 just for a game either. Though I can keep the galaxy readiness at 100%-98% via the iPad app.

Still, it just sucks.

BTW, the U.O. Trace tool can only export thing in "copy" that copy the trace log in plain text and allow you to paste it on message board such as this, right? I've done as such, but the EA tech seems just clueless and keep asking me to post that damn thing, which I've done so...

EDIT: n/m, finally got the EA  tech to cough out the proper instruction manual on how to do the U.O. Trace, well he could've told me that 24 hrs ago and won't have a day wasted this way...
