Does anyone know if these helmets (the ones with ridges down the middle and full face mask) are available for characters to wear? They look cool.

I believe what you are looking for is actually called the "Soldier's Helm".

Unfortuantely, I haven't seen any GOOD helmet that looks like that (Why, oh why, couldn't that shoddy piece of crap you get from saving all the people in Redcliffe look like one of those, in Red Steel or somesuch, so it'd match.. other.. red equipment?) but yeah, the helmets are called "Soldier's Helmet" or something along those lines.

Cant recall the exact helmet from Ostagar but isnt just a soldiers helmet that is either silver, red or higher "steel" quality?.

I used one called a "Rock Knocker" (or something similar) with my Wade's dragon scale. It wasn't great and only provided +20 physical resistances, but everything else looked like crap and I can't have my characters running around looking stupid.

Eh. I thought Rocknocker was ugly. I like the Helm of Honnleath, the Templar Helm, and the Warden's Helm.

If you're not all that worried about extra stats, I believe a Soldier's Heavy Helm should provide what you're looking for.

Where can I find soldiers heavy helm? dragonage.wikia.com says Wade's should have it, but I'm not finding it. Does anyone know if I can find it somewhere else?

Maybe it was a trick of the lightning, but I found that Corruption looks okay with Wade's Superior Dragonskin Armor.

You could always use the console command and get Corruption earlier.
