I can't find where to download this crap anywhere!!!! I've searched Origin and Bioware's website for an hour and can't find any mention of From Ashes or the new multiplayer dlc. WTF? Why is this so freaking hard to find and download? Can someone point me in the right direction?

I can't even click the Downloadable Content button in the main menu of the game. Is this a glitch? Is something wrong?

Go into the game page in Origin, they're both right here (I assume the button is in the same place for every language):
